I'm not the best person to answer that as they are the common places they can rust that I know of & I've only ever had 2 jap zeds !

Check it's seated right! Think jeff put a post about having to tap them back in a bit if they play up!

Your gonna have to trace the wires & rip it out but this ain't always that easy as some have dummy wires fitted to make it harder to bypass!

U have exact same setup as my fmic I fitted it last weekend & am now gonna run som pipes up from side mount position to the air filter! Ps I know piping is incorrect in this pic it's now been corrected :-/

Uk had the side lights in the front where the fogs are! Just move it to the side clusters u can drill a hole or buy some jap ones

My mate has one still & it's Miami blue with a factory turbo technics conversion with boost button on dash!!! Awesome & another lad I know has a grey one with the 405 mi16 engine & a 6 speed box all done by ecosse we done 130mph 4 up on way to a LAX POWER show at the NEC & it stillnhad more to go! But I personally prefer the look of the 309 GTI

Fly tape!!! Used in soffets they do a plastic one that is very playable & comes with self adhiesive edges & is 4" wide !

After cutting back with compound polish or wax the car a panel at a time but only taking off in straight lines this helps reduce the swirls or holograming coming back ;)

Think u will benefit from fitting ports in the enclosures! If u look at most subs around they have a port built into the housing .. I made a sub box years ago & I found the cheap chrome down lights work perfect, just use the right size hole saw then after u cover the box use the downlight fitting to finish off the hole! also another tip is to use a good silicone on all your joints internally !! DO NOT USE FILLER, WOOD FILLER, OR CAULK as this will break up after a while with all the boom booming & end up rattling around in the box,

Auto glym rubber cleaner ! Put it in a spray bottle & use it on inner arches !! Put some in a cut down plastic bottle & use a 3" paint brush to apply to tyres!! Job done

The guy who does my powder coating has this stuff! It would look good on the plenum

Hi rob was good to meet u on sunday & thanks for the plenum...but gutted to hear about this now! I would call insurance asap & inform them of what's happened & tell them your away on holiday just incase they get funny about u not reporting it to them sooner! Also the police should have given your folks a crime reference number which u can quote to your insurance company for confirmation. Gutted mate but at least u left the escort at home & not the ZED !

R u sure it's spliced? As the wire is a double core cable eg, inner core, insulation, outer core, insulation!!
