  1. I know. i`m just waiting for someone to break in and shoot me in a tragic robbery gone wrong. That would put me out of my misery :headvswal
  2. Channel 4 now. Nearly two hours of glorious nonsense....followed by that crap that calls itself comedy - Blunder. Very apt name!
  3. And she`s a bloody nutter. Personally, I think she`s georgeous. (in one of those strange and interesting ways)
  4. Cleo Roccos to win...............
  5. She`s let herself go a bit after losing her Scottish husband. Poor wee lassie.
  6. White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane. Subject to regular change of mind though.
  7. Ok. I`m ready for the abuse. Am I the only person who thinks that the hamster is just another person who has had a crash. You`d think he is the only person ever to have been injured in a car. He`s ONLY a tv presenter!! Lets get things in perspective. Don`t get me wrong, it must have been very scary for his family and friends but I think this country has a need to hero worship people. I`m not trying to be nasty or anything here, but I just don`t get the hysteria that surrounded his crash, and his recovery. Just my thoughts............and by the sounds of it, ONLY my thoughts.

Further south than the leg? Like the carpet?
  9. Aye. Off a bloke in Sheffield. All mint condition... At least they were when i got them!! :smash:
  10. Funny that. I did the opposite and bought lots of Velvet Underground stuff. I`m just holding out for a promo copy of their first album,(Torso copy, mono recording, with intact sticker). Might need to take out a second mortgage though. I have everything else on promo. Even the third album. ps. Not everyones taste, I know
  11. Toy dolls is worth a look !! I`m trying to ge to bed ffs. Toy Dolls? I`m planning a trip out to see them with my brother sometime next year. They do a lot of touring in Germany and other obscure, uncivilised places like that. Weird when you need to go abroad to see Mackems when,Sunderland is only 40 minutes drive away. but, as they say ,Hey Ho!
  12. OOH. Wendy James. No Talent at all.........but....ooh Wendy James!! I have every Madness single released, in original covers, in case anyone is interested.............. Just thought I`d mention that.
  13. What about Ian Dury and the Blockheads? New Boots and Panties is a great album. Saw them (The Blockheads....no Ian dury. Lazy fecker didnt turn up!!) not so long ago at the 100 Club with my brother. I was a tad drunk but it was great. Roland Rivron was on percussion!?!
  14. Yeah. I know its being a music snob (as everything is readily available), but really they need to just **** off eh? They are ours. Don`t they understand??
  15. United Kingdom Subversives.......Didn`t know that was the original name. eeeh you learn something every day!
  16. Its like the Ramones Tshirt. Its trendy to wear it. My ex girlfriend once had a young lass close to tears by asking her to name a Ramones song when she saw her wearing one one night in a local pub. (she was shouting angrily at her mind) Posing fecckers!!
  17. I`ve seen the Stranglers a couple of times. The (now) lead singer played at my local pub not so long ago. Only about 100 peolple there and he did an acoustic set. What a laugh. His opening lines were about being asked to do a fun run for disabled children. At first he thought, "*****cks that." And then he thought, "hold on a second, I could win that". Very un pc. but so what. He was a great entertainer. SLF are still superb. They are `supposed` to do a benefit gig for Ashington football club soon, as jake Burns is honourary president. I`ve been promised tickets. The only way I won`t go is if I`m dead!!
  18. Please stop. The Rezillos. Fantastic. Never saw them live but they still tour and I WILL see them next time they play Newcastle. Actuall listening to Cant Stand The Rezillos right now (Vinyl of course). If I was pressed to say I reckon it could be my faourite album. Every track is great.
  19. Saw the Ramones twice. Both times at The Mayfair in Newcastle. Right up front pressed against the stage. Came away covered in spit. Aaah. Happy days. Dee Dee Ramones. Rock God (but what a tortured soul).
  20. Would love to see them but I hate going to gigs in big arenas etc.
  21. They just did happy music.! I really wish I`d gone to see them when I had the chance. Ah well! Cant turn back time.
  22. Nothing else to say really!!! Oh ,and SLF! They were/are superb. Someone stop my LCL please. Anyone agree?
  23. Mine has just gome through its 5th MOT with no problems, although the auto box did go a year or so ago. Other than that, there hasn`t really been a problem. Been lucky I suppose. (fingers crossed)
  24. The Budgie Smugglers.
  25.  I wish I`d never started reading this thread. I think I`ll go and stay at my mams house tonight. I`m scared!! (Great reads though. Keep em coming. But not Nicks. You`re too freaky)
