Dunno if any of you have seen this. Interesting collection of cars being auctioned. Several Nissans! One such being a 1992 300zx TT! https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/es19 https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/es19/essen/lots/r0078-1992-nissan-300zx-twin-turbo/733498

door interior skin splash shield
Is there a part number(s) for the clear plastic splash shield that lines the inside of each door, stuck on with sticky black butyl ? Can't find any refs on my google searches...

Question regarding UV plastics and glues on 93+ Z32s
I know there are some bits on my 95 that are fading, getting that dried out chalky plastic look - The plastic surround thats around the interior door release handle is one

300zx windscreens - difficulty in getting replacements.
It's not as bad as you think. You'll always be able to get a screen from Pilkington. Once stock has gone, it'll be made to order at their classic car dept. Check out https://www.pilkington.com/en-gb/uk/automotive/classic-car-glass/photos The screen is not made with a mold, a better term would be a 'form' made from wood. Either the form is stored somewhere or they just knock up a new one from the drawings they have on file. A friend of mine ordered a 89' Pontiac Trans-am screen directly. £470 and about 8 weeks, but was able to specify whatever tint he wanted, sunshade band, was even able to have a custom frit (the black around the edge which is screen printed onto the glass). Screen fitted perfectly!

Big thanks to Jimmer at Powerzed!
Ordered straight from Peru in the first Twinz group buy on here lol. Think that was about 5 years ago via Mark Derby!

Haha no, it's my workshop! Purpose built for the car. Downside was it took me so long to build it, the 300 suffered the elements outside and just degraded ;-)

Ha! it is Nissan Cobalt Green Pearl. But it's a strange colour, looks green in most lights, but sometimes it can look quite turquoise & blue.

Big thanks to Jim and his team at Powerzed.:clap::biggrin: She's been with Jim to have a fair bit of corrosion repair - the sills, rear arches, metalwork underneath the rear bumper, front wings, front rad crossmember. Undersealing, cleaning up underneath, quite a bit of work! & quite a bit of paint work too, not much of the car left that didn't need paint, so it had a full respray! & a new windscreen. Twinz front bumper and rear diffuser fitted, front splitter and sill lips things to go on soon. Engines had a major service, cambelt etc, boost controler fitted etc, suspension parts, shocks, bigger discs and refurb caliper's fitted. Rest is down to me now, all new exterior trim to go on, targa tops to rebuild, SAW kit to fit to the autobox, and of course refit all the interior! Hoping she'll see the outside before the winter hits.- Came across some new wiper blades - not very exciting thread....
Excellent. Just ordered a set of these- Targas
After a pair of targas to salvage parts from. Specifically the black edges that are bonded around the three sides of the glass. And the interior plastic end caps. So not worried about the rest unless the targas are in all round really good condition...- Decats for a TT auto lwb
- TT chipped ecu
Need an 8bit TT Auto ecu either ready to chip, or already socketed for replacement chip. car is auto but i forget if a manual ecu can go in an auto or the other way around. ta, james- 300zx Logo
Hi mate, try this. Isn't perfect but with a little bit of tweaking... decal-300zx.ai.zip Is possible you can upload the fairlady vectors you said you found?- speedo not working
The seat: Check fuse first obviously. But if no joy you need to get the footwell fuse panel out. You need to unplug everything, unscrew it and pull it out so you can get to the back of it. Loads of typical square relays on the back. But in the middle there is a round one. This is the circuit breaker for the windows and seats. It's a bi-metalic cut out device & i bet its that thats gone.- Driftworks suspension
Selling this as i'm not going to fit it to my zed. Prefer to sell it as a bundle really. £400 posted anywhere in UK.- Why bother with UK clocks?
Looks like this is the ultimate solution to wire a converter into a 95+ kph speedo Wiring it directly to the circuit board of the speedo drive assembly as he shows, allows it to adjust the needle speed to get mph, but leave the onwards signal to the ecu unaffected thus keeping the hicas & pas working at the correct speeds. Chipped ecu to remove the jspec speed limiter. Maybe its also possible to to take a mph speedo needle & motor assembly and swap that into a jdm cluster...- U.K. Speedo clocks and loom pigtails
Good set of uk clocks for a tt. And I'm after the plugs that go in the back, I.e. The plugs with say a few inches of the loom wiring snipped out of the cars loom. Trying to attempt to wire a series 1/2 pre 1995 cluster into a series 4 1995 car! - Big thanks to Jimmer at Powerzed!
