if you fit the Driftworks HICAS kit, it will solve any issues with play in the joints since they wont be there! The driftworks kit elimiates the rack, the arms and the ball joints on the hubs. The only thing about removing the rear steering rack though, is that you would need to get the fitting to loop the pipes which supply the solenoid in the engine bay, or find another way of doing it so that you dont dump your power steering fluid onto the road at the first time of firing it up!

Really? I never thought it would do any damage to the engine. If anything, i thought it would be better for it since it's letting it warm up before being driven. Oh well.....every days a school day!

I heard it invalidates the warrenty from nissan if the PSS system is removed. Read the article about the guy from GTR Owners who got hit for £11k when his system went off.......stuff that!

My insurance clearly states that it wont be insured for the Nurburgring either. Track day insurance is available.....AT A STEEP PREMIUM, but i'm gonna see whats about there. A guy from work went over this year and paid close to £300 to insure his '02 plate Focus RS for the weekend.
