  1. Some pictures: Cuda is the BEST muscle car IMO, would love this one.
  2. Unfortunately some people think that the bad weather doesn't apply to 4WD cars :( I turned my boost controller off last night in the snow in the GT4 was not fun driving in the mush I can tell you. It's 2-3 inches deep round my way.
  3. Yes its great to see any car that's tuned have a go and give a known fast/super car a run for it's money, but that's what drag strips, track days etc are for. 30 seconds or so at that speed is probably a couple of miles at least, that's fast enough for someone travelling with their family in their car to check the mirror, all clear, pull out and bang 2 wrecked cars and a massive loss of life. The car may be fast but it's being driven like and by an utter knob IMO. Videos like this shouldn't be glorified, they should be condemned for the dangerous actions they portray.
  4. Full credit to this guy? for what exactly? Racing on a public road and endangering lives? well worth it huh? Must have a tiny penis, time and a place for everything, a public road isn't somewhere to be doing those speeds, racing or not. Total cock IMO and before people go "giving him credit" just imagine how you'd feel if someone ploughed into your familys car at that speed? jail for 5 years and a driving ban wouldn't even come close to the punishment you'd want to dish out.
  5. Hear? I think you failed at noticing due to there size there is 2 MASSIVE holes cut in the "hood" for them, making it about as "sleepy" as a cheetah on cocaine
  6. Check the links below for info and a video. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C5%8Ds%C5%8Dzoku http://www.bosozokustyle.com/
  7. The last two links in the first post are "bososuku" I suggest you look into it before criticizing as it's very much a major part of japanese car culture. The owners don't take themselves seriously so I don't think you should either ;) As for the ones Funky Si found, I feel he has been and raided "barryboys" shed of the week forum ;)
  8. There is a place in Leigh on sea near me, Bernard Newbury. http://www.bernardnewbury.co.uk/
  9. I did mine by putting them in the oven :) but them in a pre heated oven at 180 Deg and keep a check on them. Take then out when they are just a bit to hot to hold comfortably. You may need to keep putting them back in every minute or so and work the lense off slowly.
  10. Try this, it may not be the exact instructions, but if you're even just slightly more intelligent than a 5 year old you should be able to work it all out. http://www.team3s.com/Blitz%20SBC%20i-D%20manual.pdf
  11. It's a car, bloody drive it is my opinion. I use mine every day, short trips, long trips and its fine. I personally never understand the point of a second car, mainly because every day when i walked out the house if i had the choice of a high performance car or a 1300 shitter the later would never get used. I don't see the point in trying to keep the mileage low, look after it properly and high mileage isn't an issue. (I've seen high mileage cars in better condition than low mileage ones) Realistically whats the point in having a car you don't drive?
  12. I started getting back in shape after damaging my chest quite bad. Played football for the first time in a year today. Loved it!! Unfortunately my legs are now protesting and will only provide basic motor functions and badly at that. The threat of them giving way for no real reason is very real at the moment :(
  13. the reason it sits like that is because it doesn't have all the mounting points the stock one does. I have never seen one (on any make of car) that does sit right. Ways round it are normally some decent double sided tape to hold it in place.
  14. That'd me me stella ;) I'll PM them over to you
  15. It's not the glass as such, the easiest thing to do is provide them with some shade, notice how ALL cars stock gauges are in a binnacle? Bet yours are mounted either without the surrounds (if they were supplied with any) or don't have them (the shades) angled right. What you are suffering from is called "bleaching" it won't matter what gauge you fit, with no shade the light from them just gets lost in the surrounding light. HTH
  16. The ones on the wing? No, but replacements aren't exactly expensive about £20 delivered off ebay. I found mine on there new for £15
  17. OK here's how my N1 copy sounds on my TT with decats: And here's how the old single exit Kakimoto sounded:
  18. Only 1 choice for me: 1972 Plymouth Barracuda Hemi :D More info on this car here: 1972 Plymouth Barracuda Hemi
  19. Another good controler is the Blitz SBC iD In my opinion. I had one in my GT4 and just got one for my 300, it to can be gotten 2nd hand for around the £200 mark. As Munny said, really not worth going for a cheap manual controller or similar, you'll regret it the moment you engine goes bang. Electoronic controllers have a boost warning function, so that if for any reason the engine starts to overboost it will give you a visual and audible warning, some controller will even automatically drop the boost as a fail safe. Here's a link I found useful for understanding a bit more about boost controllers: http://www.splparts.com/doc/tech/EBC.htm
  20. Why not just save up a bit longer and get coilovers? As much adjustment as you like then.
  21. MR2 all the way. No they don't have traction control, the calibra is wrong wheel drive and it's a vauxhal and everyone knows what people think of BMW drivers......... My ex had and MR2 N/A and it was pretty quick and good fun to drive chuck about. Not the most practical of cars though.
  22. I've had my zed for about 7 weeks now and as much of a pain in the arse as it's been i wouldn't get rid of it. I'm out doing something to improve it/fix it most days but then i bought a sheddy one cause I wanted a project car to work on oh and i use mine EVERY day as it's my only car. I'd say come along to the next Halfway house meet if you can be a good chance for you to see what they are all about. I to considered a GTO but after owning a fast GT4 i wanted something that was a bit more "risky" ie something with out the security of 4WD. If you're anywhere near Southend in Essex you're welcome to come for a drive in mine to see what you think.
  23. I had a Kakimoto single exit and it was TOO loud for everyday driving IMO, 20mins and I'd start to get a head ache :(
  24. Cheers mate, looks like you've just saved me getting dirty before having to do anything!! Is the 8mm ID? I figured I'd need about 3m, but I'll get 4 to be on the safe side.
  25. I hope so buddy, I was getting rather pissed off TBH. ESPECIALLY as he said he'd post them the next day and I wanted to fit it for another clubs event last Saturday so not overly impressed. I just hope nothing bad/serious has happened and that it is he's just been a bit forgetful/lazy.
