Guys, I am just about giving up with my standard dipped beam, their a nightmare.......to the point where I may have to rush home before it gets dark!!!! I have heard of a few possible changes, and have seen Jeffs in action, that seems to make a difference with the foil, any other ideas and where can I get his foil conversion done? Thnx;)

Just for the record, mine has exactly the sam eproblem every morning...... problem..... Fuel regulator......(controlled by air pressure) Fix.... Change it.... Hope this helps, mine is being done at the weekend.;)

Guilty as charged..... I was just checking that Zed owners werent passing it round but by the sounds of things, and after checking out the facts your all right! It is cheap for what it can do but can anyone explain how an amateur mechanic like me can benefit from it? What does it REALLY do? Go on, sell it to me and I might blow the moths off the old wallet!:D :D

Just phoned jeff and a full flush and new antifreeze for me before I collect the car! For £15 its nothing to keep your engine clean!!!!!!! You know it makes sense!!!:D

Eric, not wanting to sound like an old man but have you owned a rear wheel drive turbo car before? Or even a quick car? The reason I ask is not to insult your driving but just to say that I think I would be quite intimmidated by the 300ZX if I was used to driving a saxo. The difference is huge and in the wrong hands can be a lethal weapon! I am sure your a cool driver but just asking thats all...;)

Well I join the M40 at banbury, its only 10 mins from me and then get on the M42, I think its the straightest way. MK is only 25mins from Brackley so I am sure you can get on the M40 in just over 30mins on a good day.;) Mind you, you dont have your 300zx so it might take longer!:D

;) Hi Nix and Dean, I will be up sat dinner time to collect mine and like you say Nix, Jeff is a top bloke, always prepared to help you out under any circumstances. He spent a good 45mins on the phone to me yesterday as I couldnt get my car started from cold, the revs would go up but then the car would just die!!! Finally got it started and took it up to Jeff as he's chipping the ECU for me on saturday anyway so I thought I might as well take it up early. Might see you both then! Mines the red one withe damn nice 18's and twin 4"pipes!! Woudl post a pic but I cant!:(

Andy: I think it means dont use ANYTHING else than Nissan unless its race spec (spec'ed up) etc...... I learnt the hard way on a patterned head gasket for my old S2 RS Turbo, boy did I learn.........:o

Help with the steroe swop over if you can guys. On the back of the UK tape player there are 2 blocks. One contains 10 holes with 9 filled with wires, the other block has 6 holes, 5 are used, 4 of them are for the rear speakers and then there is a green wire that goes to the clarion amp in the rear speaker compartment, but I dont know what to do with this wire as my Kenwood doesnt have a wire for this? Do I just need to send a live current down it to power the amp up as I cant get the rear speakers to work and this is obviously because the amp is not firing up!!! Please help, I am tearing my hair out here!!!!:mad:

Hello mate, I was in Limmasol from the 12/02 to the 19/02 and I saw two zeds. I diddnt see a black one though, I seen Nitropower but I diddnt know him then, had a chat and said he would have taken me for a ride if he had known it was me!!!! |DOH| I also saw a silver one coming on the A6 from Ayia Napa to Limassol. I stayed at Eden Beach Limassol, where did you stay? Weather could have been better that week hey?:rolleyes:

Hi, Firstly I would just like to say that I love my zed after 3 days of driving it, the best car I have ever owned and found out today that I can lower the rear of the seat as well as the front, dead clever that although it is now like I am sitting on the road with a tuft of hair sticking over the steering wheel, cool though. I got about 250miles to a full tank, is this normal? If so, anyone know of any cheap petrol shares? Secondly, where can I get some small 'www.300zx.co.uk' stickers for my rear windows, I seen them on another zed and they look really cool. Third, I am taking out my stereo tomorrow and need something to fill the other gap where the tape unit was. I ideally want a turbo timer and a boost gauge to go in there? Does anyoen know where I can buy such a thing! I desperately need these as the boost has been turned up to 14psi so I want to keep an eye on it and I am getting fed up of sitting in the car for a minute before I can close the car. Please help, thanks guys.....:D

Sorry Tim, if I could get pics up here I could explain this loads easier. If you take the cover off the motor you have a large round white wheel in the middle that retracts and uploads the aerial. At 11 o'clock to this cog is another smaller white cog which runs off the electrical motor (metal bell housing near the main shaft of the aerial). When I reverse the motor ie. turn the radio off, the cog jumps up and doesnt turn it just makes this awful racket as it tries to sit back down?? I was wondering if anyone knew if there was supposed to be something there to stop it from rising?? Or if anyone could take theirs to pieces and check!;)

Hi, I cannot seem to post attachments here otherwise I could shoe you a photo of what I mean???? Why is this? It says I am not allowed!! I took the aerial off to fit a new mast as the old one broke. I managed to remove all the old mast and plastic tie rap like part that coils up inside but when I went to feed the new one down whilst turning the stereo off, it made this awful clunking noise and when I opened the motor up, the small cog that the main motor shaft turns could not sit back down on this shaft to reverse?? Why is this, does anyone know?:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Wow how freaky is that. I tried to race you in my 1.9td vitara but I diddnt have much chance. It was when you were going by the roadworks and you were stuck behind a car and I came up close to your ass just so you'd boot it!!! And you did, nice car and yes it was on UK plates now I come to think about it. Shame I diddnt realise you were there, would have been cool to hook up.:D You were right about that thing that sits on top of the spark plug, it keeps doing it when I get to 6000rpm, so I have invented a little plastic bracket that bolts to the manifold to hold it down!! How can I post pics of my car on here!

Hi Nitropow I have just returned from Eden Beach Hotel, Limmasol. Did I see you driving round there? I only seen two cars, a Red 300ZX with two large pipes and a silver one on the A6 which went like lightening!!!!
