  1. Where can i get some paint that matches the stuff on the car? the paint code is 673 and its a 1992 Jap import. need to know what the colour is called too. Cheers guys

Well the best way to describe it is its like when your car runs out of gas, and it pulls then dies then pulls then dies....... you get the idea when on boost. and its like its droped a cylinder or two when i started it yeaterday. Just done a compression test and its fine. about 190psi on all cylinders! lowest was 187psi max 190psi So not that!

  12. Now getting a missfire that gets better as the engine heates up, but comes back when you boot it. any ideas on where to start looking for problems? gonna do a ECU check in a min.

  15. Also the bolts will hit the bulkhead so you cant remove them all the way. How ever it is possible to remove it while in the car but its hard work the first time you do it. as for the gaskets, get new ones, i got mine from the US much cheeper. and as you have to remove the timing belt to remove the lower plenum, i would also change the timing belt at the same time.
  16. Well heres an update! removed my boost controler and now have full stock boost again and not 5 psi, i still have the boost leak tho and i cant find the fooking thing! also still smokeing :(

  20. Help please, i have a boost leak somewhere round the drivers side TB, but i cant find it, i can hear it with a boost leak tool, just cant find the darn thing. checked the pipes, the clamps everything yet i can still hear it. Anyone know what to check round that way?

  24. Useing fully synth, always have, and no firing problems at the moment. just smoke on overrun. and a boost leak.
  25. I shall have a look after work, if there is does that mean fooked rings and/or pistons?
