  1. As many as you're happy to travel to meets in :)
  2. asking :) road rash from the euro trip?
  3. I can see it, nice work :)
  4. Had an alignment done yesterday and corner weighted to sort diagonals out. Results are that I'm now 30mm lower all round compared to last time, and car is 85Kg lighter despite all the extra fluids :) PS if anyone wants a new set of 20mm spacers, let me know, picked them up thinking I could get away with it, but the reality was I was running -5deg camber on the rear lol.
  5. Very given how much extra oil and coolant I'm carrying

anyone have any knocking around they no longer need, not worried about condition, just need the glass really
  7. Noel, if it's causing knock / timing retard related, wouldn't the ecu need to be cycled ie off/on before performance returned?
  8. 17 aft at idle suggest you might have a vac leak. Cruising at 14-15 is not a problem in and of itself, but again could be suggesting a vac leak if the map wasn't setup that way. In terms of heat soak, you need to monitor your IAT to see what's going on.
  9. Also wired the oil pressure and oil temp sensors to the ecu and configured a pressure cut to kill the engine if oil pressure is too low eg it throws the pump belt
  10. Crossbracing with some home made carbon tierods and another photo of the dry sump pump Infinity took a pic after fabbing the exhaust, nice to see the car off the trailer for a change!
  11. Exhaust was made while I was away too
  12. were there any GTO's at TOTB this year?
  13. Radiator is now bled, temps are stable, creep up very slowly at idle, then fans reduce the temp back again very quickly, controlled by the ecu. Fan on at 80, reduce to 75 in 20secs, fan off, but temp kept falling to 70!
  14. I'll just leave this here
  15. Went to sort the radiator out on Monday, raised the rad up nice and high and heard some promising glooping noises as water and air moved around, but couldn't get car started! No fuel pressure again! Bought the car home, proper fittings arrived today, fitted them and car is alive again :) will try to burp the coolant system tomorrow Hopefully this is the last I see of the fuel pumps for a while
  16. I'm sure q45 limits are on the forum somewhere, but since a single stock mag goes to just under 600 it should be ok depending on your goals. Going to a twin setup will be more efficient from an airflow perspective, probably not noticeable unless you also upgrade all the intake piping too
  17. First go at bumper in cf is also done, far from perfect cosmetically as i took some shortcuts to have it ready for Totb. Alas I will have a spare this way and can see where I need to pay more attention second time round. Pics later in the week when I remove from the mould
  18. These hoses from pump to bulkhead failed, pic was taken a year ago, but only submerged in fuel in the last week and they collapsed! checking stuff over on Friday and found the car would start but not run for an extended period and die when blipping throttle. Topped up fuel tank but still the same. Check fuel pressure with 2 different gauges as we didn't believe the reading - 5psi! Amazing it even ran Took about 4 hours to get the pumps out, source suitable lines locally and refit, but we had 70psi fuel pressure afterwards :) Rest of Friday was spent trying to get the coolant system to work now that we could get some heat into it, but struggled to get any circulation at all. This was when I called it a day for TOTB. Apparently quite common problem with bleeding rear read setups, will be trying again tomorrow - fingers crossed
  19. Well done Bob, good to see those terminals coming up to where they should be, it'll be awesome with the new engine I'm sure
  20. and just like that I'm out again :( didn't get to map the car yesterday as we spent most of the day fixing a fuel pressure issue and then battling a coolant flow issue, teething issues of everything being new. Could have battled on but looking at the weather forecast I don't personally see the point. Dissappointed not to go to TOTB (again!) but very happy with the progress being made in getting the car setup and ready to run in anger very soon
  21. 3" Downpipe, testpipe/decat, catback. That's the order of benefit, with catback only helping a little at very high power. Power and torque should increase, your peak boost will probably reduce
