  1. Brilliant, good find! Where do people find the time to do things like this?? I like.
  2. Top info there Steams!
  3. Hi mate, there are loads of places in Norwich that will paint it for you, obviously with the cost of labour these days it will work out pretty expensive if you get them to fit it also. If its to replace the one thats on your car, get it painted and bring it to the border and I will help you fit it.
  4. As few of you will know, I got myself married last Saturday and that afternoon we set off on our honeymoon in the Zed. We so far have travelled through France on our way to Lucerne in Switzerland stopping off in a couple of hotels. 400 miles on and we are faced with what can only be described as heaven and I swear I saw the corners of my front bumper turn up into a smile; The Gotthard pass sat firmly underneath the Zed. Oh boy, everyone should experience this road and scenery. We have now travelled 840 miles to Lake Como on our way to Venice. The Zed is a stranger on these shores and people stop and stare all the time and ask for photos. Loads more miles to eat up as we continue a tour of Europe. Man I love my car. Oops and my wife.
  5. Came flying past a farm this afternoon and spotted a bright red zed besides a barn, very nice, was it you?
  6. I would do them for people, only thing is they take bloody ages. This took about 3 months, have to wait for the paint to dry before layering other paint. It's a defo idea though. Cheers
  7. Thanks for the comments Gents. If i'm not working on the the cars fixing them, I am always doing something else to do with the 300. My mrs thinks I love them more than her........erm......now let me think.. Better not answer that! Cheers
  8. Ha, not that kind of paint. Normally I paint using oil but fancied a change and tried acrylic. The bike I painted for a mate. Excuse image quality as they were taken on my phone.
  9. Get a Volt meter on the coil pack connectors in case you have a break in a wire from the ptu. 1 Earth 2 signals. I cant remember the voltage so compare it to a known good pack. I had the same problem and it turned out to be the small return wire that had a break in the conduit and it took a life time to find.
  10. Let me know how you get on mate, maybe you can give me a few pointers as mine is doing something really similar. Be very interested to know if it is the IAA. See ya soon.
  11. Just remembered that there is a very good garage in colchester. I took my zed there for a full rebuild a few years back. He is on the trading estate near 'Myland' behind the Porsche/Ferrari garages. If I remember rightly it was called Shepperd Racing. But as above, Jeff is where you really should go.
  12. The garage in Maldon has long gone mate and the company no longer trades. Used to be called SE Engineering/nissan.
  13. Summer will be an adventure. Taking the old girl around Europe, 3000 miles, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany. Can't wait.
  14. Good to hear matey. Normally works out the other way where people are being stung!
  15. Cheers guys. I will try my luck with AG2
  16. Or possibly AH something????....
  17. Anyone know which flat red gloss paint would be on my motors. I have a 89 JAP TT and a 92 UK TT both red. I am trying to order some paint and most searches detail AJ4 as the colour but I'm pretty sure that this is not as 'orangie' as I need. Any help appreciated as usual.
  18. Wow, now thats dedication for ya!
  19. Oh dear, all that work Jeff and you have forgot where you removed it from. Nevermind, pass it here, I'll have it!!
  20. Possibly the connectors on the driver side inner wing in the engine bay???
  21. Alanz, you get my vote matey.
  22. Are you sure that all cylinders are firing up? Do the revs stabilise once started. Can you hear the injectors clicking (screwdriver method)?
  23. I'm not too sure, but didn't someone have the same problem and it ended up being a fuse??? Out of curiosity where is the fuse for the box?
  24. All we need to do now is convience him to move to a more central locarion.......lets say Suffolk.lol. Well done Jimmer.
