  1. Jimmy's right, it's been welded in between the teeth of the gear, so that the diff will be locked, not good for going round bends. Paul

  19. Hi Mark, got one you can have for £20, I live just outside Rochester if you want to meet up to save the postage. Paul
  20. If it just passed an mot then corrosion wise it can't be to bad, if the engine and box sound ok then would think it's ok, get an AA/RAC inspection on it, just to be safe. If the engine and box are ok, they are worth more than a £1000 alone. Paul

  22. Is there anyway i can health check the calipers? I was thinking of taking the caliper of and then gently depressing the brake pedal so the pistons move and I can see if they are all moving i.e that none have siezed up. Will this work? That's fine but make sure that you have something between the pistons to stop them coming to far out. Paul
