  1. I would say its a bearing noise. Cant be the syncros, they make no noise it only gets hard to put in the gear that has a broken one.
  2. My TT Z needs a new clutch and I want to know what you recomend. Most people say a paddle clutch is too harch for a daily driver but I have driven a GT3000 VR-4 with it and its not that bad. If you recomend any it would be nice to know where to get them.
  3. Here u go A/T control unit

Funny I was actualy offered tires called nangkang two days ago. I had never heard of them before.:D
  5. No garage so it has been outside for a while. It is not that cold here it has bearly snowed all winter, I think its been colder in UK:cool:
  6. My car has been off road since 1998, but like Andy I have owned it for 6 months. I am putting the engine together and hopefuly it will be ready for MOT in 2-3 weeks. I was worried before about the car beeing off road for so long but not any more:D thx.
  7. I was just wondering because I have done it other cars without any problems. I think it will be ok, if I leave the EGR solenoid still pluged the ECU will not detect it.

I think it is inside the car. Must be real pain to replace. Have fun:D
  9. Could work with a watercooled intercooler, I think it´s called chargecooler. Link it to the AC and use freon instead of water. Just a tought:)
  10. You can see it here
  11. The clutch has a booster and it could be leaking or the hoses to it. I would check the manual . That explains why its hard when the engine is not running.
  12. IMO the crank is most likely worn when it has started to knock. It is too late to change only the bearings. I have changed the bearings in many 3000GT because they tend to wear out soon, but it is done before it starts to make a noise so it will be ok.
  13. You can do this with the engine still in the car and change only the bearings. But if the crank is worn, it most likely is, you must pull the engine out.
  14. I do need a right rear wheel but how much for the set ? What is ex tyres ?
  15. If they had knew they would have tighten the water hose one more turn. Right?
  16. You cant do this wrong. There is only one way the intake pulley fits the cam. Remove the four small bolts and the cover, a spring will fall out and dont loose the o-ring. Then loosen(not sure how to spell this) the bolt in the center. Easy:)
  17. I would say its 49722M
  18. Fiat Uno ´84-'90 and Panda came with bag type.
  19. Do you guys know anything about SR-71 300zx? Is this somekind of special edition or just homemade ? I saw one here http://www.ttzd.com/tech/ecutech.html
  20. Thanks
  21. Hi there i´m rebuilding the engine in my ´93 TT and discovered that the block has a crack or a hole were one of the nozzle that sprays oil under the pistons used to be. It also needs a rebore so i´m wondering if u guys know were to look for a new one (secondhand). As I am from Iceland there are not many laying around here. There are maby 10 TT cars here and a few N/A. Please don´t mind the spelling. Siggi
