My clutch booster is defintely f**ked.

 

Anyone help, ive looked at the manual and cant work it out......

 

Do i need a new one? i suspect so...

are you asking or telling??? if the servo is deffo f**cked as you say, then of course it needs replacing!! :D

 

just make sure youve checked the vacuum lines.

Problem is i know its f**ked as it doesnt work and makes a strange noise...

 

Unfortunately i cant locate it!!

I assume it was to the right hand side of the ABS unit in the Engine bay but there is nothing there expect a resevoir for fluid (i checked this and it was ok.......

 

 

Im very confused.........

I think it is inside the car.

Must be real pain to replace.

You should find it bolted to the rear of the clutch pedal box - engine side of the firewall (afaik). They're pretty expensive ($300+ from Courtesy).

 

If you can get your hands on a master cylinder from an NA you can take the booster and hoses out (blank off the vacuum feed) - you will find the clutch pedal a bit stiffer though due to the stronger TT clutch s'pose the NA master cylinder would have a hard life too....
