well the inevitable has happened and my bottom and has started rattling its cockrell off, I cant afford a rebuild at the minute as I bought a house last year and its needing so much work I'm still not in it (it will all be worth it in the end she says :rolleyes: ) so can only really afford a second hand engine and would rather pay somebody to fit it so everythings warranted incase it goes tits up, the best I've found so far is zedworld at £1500+vat including an engine thats been fully checked,new belt,water pump etc. does anybody know anywhere that could beat this? the car is still driveable so dont mind rattling down the country :headvswal

it could be anybody in a 500 pony car though, if you havnt got the experience you shouldnt be driving it IMO

saw this on another forum, there should be laws or regulations on what you should drive with what experience but that would spoil it for the majority of people who can be sensible but considering those rules apply for organ donors,sorry,bikers then why not?

the discs are far too small, I have standard brakes (except for ebc discs) that work perfectly and are fine for average driving but driving hard you can feel them starting to go so i have to brake earlier and earlier to stop them heating up too much.
