  8. Not sure how you can get 70 BHP just by changing the chip without upping the boost . You'll stickk have to socket the chip yourself mate and if you and not very good with a soldering iron it can be pricey !!! If you want a Chip for your car just ask and I'm sure you'll get a PM or two ;).

  10. It's not worth running above about 14psi on stock tub's, IC's and internals anyway as this may cause detting, especially in these sort of weather conditions.

Yep, Remove the CAS from the engine keeping the harness connected. Turn the ignition to the on position. Hold the CAS with the connector double edge facing down i.e. ( on the connector you will have one side like this __| |__ = single edge, and the other side will be like this _| |__| |_ = double edge) Using a multimeter check the voltage between the last wire (i.e. the one on the right) and the 2nd from last wire. To test each wire use the + on the voltmeter to the wire and the - on the voltmeter to the battery negative. There should be a flucuation of about 5v between each of the wires while turning the cas slowly. HTH
  14.. you want me to check mine for you mate ?. I could also check Cerina's to see if there is a difference between NA and TT AFM's. On the same note I found that my TPS only had two pins on one side and 3 connectors on the other. IIRC you were there at the time.
  15. what bumper you got ?

You guys obviously shopped at the wrong store. :D :D Mines never had any problems, low maintainance, reliable, low running costs etc. etc. LOL

  18. I'm not JapCity but I imagine you were talking to me :D Nope it doesn't include the petrol, tax, MOT or Insurance. Well the maintenance is on my car which is a 300zx 2+2 TT Manual Jap spec has been since October 2002, but allot of the money spent on it was really to get it to tip top condition. I first spend about £1000 on a full major service having cam belt and all other belts replaced along with a new set of plugs, water pump, thermostat and oil change also had all new discs and pads all round along with Stainless Steel braided brake lines. After that I replaced bits that didn't really need replacing, like the PTU, temp sensor and harness, injector connectors, coil pack connectors. I then went on to replace fuel filter, window trim, targa blinds, headlight (which received a stone chip), 4 new tyres, tension bushes, rear shocks. Basically I bought the first 300zx I saw purely because I fell in love with it. I knew there were bits wrong with it that needed sorting but I knew I would be spending money to sort these out. Don't let my Maintenance since October scare you too much, My missus has a short wheel base NA and in the last two months since she has owned it she hasn't had to spend a penny on it apart from installing a rear fog light to pass it's MOT (which is did with flying colours). If you are worried about the maintenance and don't need one right this minute, then I'd hold out for a good one. Nelson, Thanks mate ;) appreciate that :D I think so too :)
  19. Vice ??? I wouldn't do that mate. You probably have a race spec brake pedal. If you want a stock one, have a word with AndyZ and see if you can replace it as a whole. If you try and straighten it out in a vice it will weaken the metal. I'm not saying this will happen but let just imagine you have to hit the brakes really hard and then because of the weakened metal it snaps !!!!!. Not a pretty sight, especially if you hadn't finished braking. Wouldn't risk it myself but it's your car mate. ;)
  20. What IC's you got on there ? Stock IC's will start detting at about 1 bar in this heat apparently.
  21. Get a dual or tripple plate HKS clutch and then you won't see this as a problem....... why you ask ?? ....because you will be heal toe-ing every where you go LMAO !!!!
  22. I thought you had HKS on yours James . They are still quite loud though even on your auto. I got HKS on my manual and have been told that they are too loud.
  23. Do you have after market pedals ?
