"No Chance Mate, No Chance" :rofl: I think the only way to decide for yourself is find a good one a take it for a test drive. As mentioned above it's not really a drivers car. it's too much eltrics and not enough user control IMHO. I was looking at the gt3000/gto (uk/jap), 300zx, Supra. I drove the Supra first, it was very nice but was more than I wanted to spend and not as good looking as the other two. I then drove the 3000gt. I felt a little cramped in there and didn't like the layout of the cockpit. However I thought it looked quite nice from outside. It was easy to drive and very smooth, but it didn't feel like you were in a 3.0 tt when you put your foot down, it was fast but not fun to drive. I then a 300zx, it wasn't in tip top condition, but as soon as I saw it in the flesh I got all excited. Looking at the interior it was more spacious than the 3000gt. Then the test drive... the owner was driving and approached a corner at about 60mph he went round it got the ar$e out a little and said "sorry about that the rear tyres are a litle low on tread", we swapped places. As soon as I pressed the acelerator I could feel that I had a car ready to go (much like the Supra). After 5 mins of getting used to it I had a little play, didn't go mad but I knew that was the car for me. I was tempted to buy that one but I had a couple more to look at and finally bought one two days later. I hope this helps ;). lol

Thanks guys, Ok well I'll check for leaks tomorrow night. I'll then bleed the clutch and see if I can flow the fluid. If that's ok what's next ? or is it going to be physically dropping the box and checking the clutch ?

Yep that's an idea. Book it in for 2pm and go for a nice long drive there, take the long route, leave at 9am :rofl:

Cerina was driving back from the airport this morning. Gave it a little off the lights (well she was trying to race a 600 bandit) good girl :rofl: Changed to 2nd no probs. Foot down on clutch for 3rd and cruch it's not going in foot off pedal but pedal doesn't come back :eek:. Pulled over. Engine off. Lifted the clutch up by hand, pressed down but no pressure what so ever. Car would not go in gear. Opened the bonnet and checked for loss of fluid. Couldn't see any loss. Send a few text messages. Thanks to Andy Duff, Paul C, Jaffa, Peter(PPS) for your concerns, advice and well wishes. Clutch Pivot Ball ?, Slave or Master Cylinder ? What's the procedure, what do I need to check to eliminate any of the above ?

No joke answers please :rofl:. Both Power ID and Blitz Boost Controller no longer powered up (wired into clock). No rear windscreen wiper or washers (fronts are still ok). No Electric mirrors. Everything else seems ok, i.e. indicators, stereo, windoes etc. Have I just blown a number of fuses somewhow or is there one main fuse that controls the lot ?

grey/blue smoke is oil, white is water, black is fuel. Have you checked all the PCV's and hoses to make sure they are tight. I take it you compression checked the engine before you put it in ?.

As said abiove. No need to drain the tank. Before you change the filter make sure you are almost on empty, this should get all the crap up from the bottom of the tank as well as the dilluted diesel.

SHame to hear that you are taking off all the good stuff. Even more of a shame to hear that I already have the stuff you are selling :cry:. Sell me something I haven't got cos ;). No probs with the links mate, that's what they are there for.

sorry I didn;t make this guys. I took both Z's to the airport this morning. Gave one to Peter from PPS and he headed up to Necastle. Then the other one broke down on the way back (clutch related).

Replacing Mark is not going to be easy for anyone. But I will be willing to give it my best shot if I get nominated. I nominate myself and will be supported by Mac 1 & Mike Groves.

When you say you have adjusted it do you mean you have adjusted this ?

There are small hoses which lead off the inner boiost hoses (i.e. the ones that connect to the thorttle boddies). It may be an idea to do the squuze test first to make sure you haven't already got jets in there
