I'm gonna take my time with the engine Greg so it may be a few months befor eit's back on the road. There was no play in the other tub at all, however there was some minor damage to the blades maybe caused by larger dust particles. I don;t think they are form the induction though, will let you know my thoughts on what they are when I see you next ;)

And she's out !!!! Very big thanks to MTL and Mike Groves (again :)) for helping out today. Wouldn't have done it as quick or as well without you guys. Well I think we can safely say that my drivers turbo is fooked !!! Or as my mum said "Is it supposed to move like that", erm no mum it's fooked LMAO !!!. Check this vid out (only a meg) it shows what a turbine is not supposed to move like when you test it for play. http://www.300zx-mods.co.uk/vids/Fooked_Tub.avi (right click save as - 1 meg) Well it also seems that the clutch I bought this time last year (which apparently could hold anything I threw at it with my current set-up) is also fooked (so that was total *****x :rofl: ), it's very badly worn and my flywheel that was skimmed is very badly cracked. We got the engine out in about 1.5 hours which also included removing the starter motor, removing the prop shaft, dropping the gearbox, removing the inlet to turbo main hoses. Not bad going :D (although a lot of the prep work was done the previous week, i.e. drop the zorsts, alternator off, pas pump off, a/c off, all connectors off, all bling removed (that took fooking ages lol ) We got the plenum and the cam covers off in about 20 mins flat !!!. Amazing how quick it all started to come apart.

Unfortunately mate, my ConZult is broken :cry:. I'll bring it along with me as we may be able to fix it but I'm waiting to hear back form danny about some sort of warrently I may or may not have with it.

Carr was decatted 6 years ago. Was running stock boost until 1 year ago, then running 15psi for a year. Passenger side turbo has just ceased (they are stock tubs that have done 85k miles - I'm surprised they lasted this long tbh).

Yep as Duffer say ECU check. Then check coil pack relay (in main fuse box under bonnet). Then Ptu etc.

Sorry guys but this show was the biggest pile of shite that my car has ever attended. There were better cars in tesco's 15 mins down the road. Is it just me or did Billing seem much smaller in gerneral this year. I think the 300zx stand was much bigger but there seemed to be more traders and burger stalls then car stands. Maybe it's all goning a bit too comercial :(.

And then in my case, 20 seconds later the alram is sounding and the engine shuts down as cliffords Black Jack - anti hi jack kicks in :dance:. I then run up to the guy pull him out of the car and kick the living... :slap::hyper:::mac1: out of him.

If you have time can you quickly run over any legal issues with window tints. I'm under the impression that tints are legal if. Windscreen 0% tints Front drivers and passenger window up to 30% tints Rear quarters and rear screen - no rules apply Am I correct or has this changed ? Thanks in advance
