  1. Spotted two this weekend in Glasgow, First one I think was huggybear I think?? Near Merchant square, I had just been to Arisaig and it was parked just outside that entrance to Merchant square. Blue LWB TT Red LWB TT sat on a road side heading back towards cambuslang
  2. well subscribe then you tight git lol
  3. I would be inclined to agree about the mice living in there! 630 for a pair of tyres isnt so bad, he's running a supercar, what does he expect? Its not the cars fault that its been left in a rodent infested garage, poor estate agent? I'd say poor R8!
  4. Just got to say the NSX's motor is not a torquey engine, 224lb-ft for the 3.2... 258lb-ft for my lowly old M3! Tell you what mate, i'll come up, you can plyline my van, make enough cash to put some fuel in that and go for a run in it ;) Looks an absolute monster!
  5. Cheers for the quote, companies based in Glasgow so your not far from the office...! I'll bear it in mind and see when im going to be next up there. Done around 300 miles today in it and its done very well, 390 miles on 36 litres, silly really considerably more economical than my old kangoo already, even though its not run in yet. Quite enjoying driving it, feels like a car (as you'd expect!)
  6. Another pro for you... no company car will mean you'll pay alot less tax. I assume if your doing sales calls you can charge your new company milage? So you'll make cash there. Also i assume your company car is some diesel rep mobile? Get something fun as a daily! If it were me I wouldnt think twice, big saving on tax and rent and being at home more often! Getting out of your comfort zone will be exciting and interesting!
  7. haha, down at my gf's in machester so done 220 in it already this afternoon. I'll try and get a photo on friday when im next home... Looks good actually, seems to go well as well. Cruise control is just fantastic over big miles. Need to get it ply lined and some sound deadening in the back though as its quite noisey from the back end, very quiet for a van. Much much better than Monsieur renault though... i dropped that of with exactly 50,000 on the clock. not bad in 16 months! This week is blackpool, leeds, wisbech, lowestoft, hull and middlesbrough YAWN!
  8. Well I've got it, not bad really! 1.9Cdti Sportive (120bhp) Satnav Bluetooth Parking sensors auto lights cruise control front fogs Collected it from my boss whos had it for a day or two with the grand total of 64 miles on the clock. Will have done its first 1000 by friday LOL Company accounts are happy or it to live at home, my van is considered my place of work so it comes home with me. It also isnt insured for personal use, therefore isnt available for personal use. Still going to see about having it sprayed, BUT the vinyl wrap idea is a good one!
  9. Nope, I dont use it for personal use.
  10. Just to add to this, we've just had an extension built but dad did the plumbing in it (as this extension was just an addition to the "old new" bit) and i know that all of the main circuit was 22mm dia, and 15mm to radiator. It is quite a big house though with alot of demand on the boiler. Still, certainly doesnt take an hour or more to get the radiators up to temperature!
  11. Aye exactly ive had a test drive in one and couldnt believe how well it drove! Steering feedback was fabulous and it handled like a very very good front wheel drive car.
  12. I'm not totally sure, as its sort of lept out of my hands but I THINK! Its this one lol http://www.findvauxhall.co.uk/usedcars/details.php?id=8536885&dealerid=125 This is a club, but better picture of one in white But silver just looks so much better! http://www.findvauxhall.co.uk/usedcars/details.php?id=8652578&dealerid=901 And finally sportive se, just looks awesome for a van! Wish they'd just get that and everyone would be happy! http://www.findvauxhall.co.uk/usedcars/details.php?id=8537341&dealerid=123
  13. Nice colour actually! Its the satnav thats the tricky part to find, although im not even too bothered about that. I should explain its actually my bosses dad who finds it fun looking for vehicles, so he trys to find as many toys as possible!
  14. I know exactly what your saying, i fnid it really weird that they specced it in white as well. Being a sportive it can come in any colour FOC. So why choose white? lol just rubbish! Its got some 16" alloys as standard, I think i'll struggle to get work to pay for VXR wheels, might go for the Irmscher grill though! There are some sportive Se's for the same money but without the satnav (which will be rubbish anyway i expect, stick to the tom tom!) with the 150bhp engine and all the body kit etc in silver or black so i'm half hoping they decide to cancel this white one... but then again good spec! As a company we don't livery vans due to the nature of work... it would get stolen or broken into the moment my back was turned.
  15. Lol id love it... Not sure its too subtle though. All in the aid of looking professional for the customer! And nicci-rich, yeah silver is always a safe bet. Last van was silver though! Was half tempted to paint it the same colour as my M3, but maybe wouldnt suit the van lol.
  16. Its pre-reg, so effectivly yeah but delivery miles kinda thing. They are hard to come by with this spec though. Satnav, Cruise control, parking sensors - not that i need all that it was the cruise control I really wanted, along with the 1.9cdti engine. I do alot of miles so wanted something as car like as possible but not a car, then i dont have to pay tax... and cars are more expensive to buy for the company so I have to pander to those needs somewhat!
  17. Right guys, time as come for a new van. Now my boss has put a deposit down on one, which is a great spec and just what i wanted BUT its white, i'd have rather it been a different colour. Now, this isnt an issue as my boss has said "if you want to, go get it resprayed as I know you dont really want to be white van man..." Which I dont, but im just not sure wether getting it resprayed isnt taking the piss a bit, although they did offer? And lets say I did get it resprayed into a different colour... what colour should i go for? My currant kangoo is silver and it looks quite good with the dirt on it (i.e doesnt show it!) By the way, its a new Astravan Sportif... Advice please! :D
  18. its dead mate ;) wrapped around a tree... hehe nah i hope not! However, G man (or man begining with G, thinking of selling i might know a man whos interested!)
  19. i knew you wanted that spoiler isaac! ;)
  20. Difficult bit is getting it back in... so im told! Never taken one out before! Hehe... well done!
  21. did a quick google and some people mentioning a reset button the back of the turbo timer. Others mentioning old down the power and alarm buttons (if you have those?? alarm first then power but both held down at the same time)
  22. i have a 9600gt in my laptop, works better than i expected - certainly good enough for HD porn lol
  23. hehe you aint got no chance of ever owning that! I expect it'll have suffered the same fate as a the 8 series convertible. Too heavy for the chassis to support, the 8 drop top suffered from flexing in the bends on the 'ring. After a few laps you couldnt open the doors :(
  24. I once stuck some asda 95 in mine, £10 worth i was desperate as every dam garage was shut or had tankers in it refilling it. It ran awful, slow, sounded bad. So i carefully drove it home and then next day brimmed with vpower... much better!
  25. Just hold this out of the window!
