  1. Congrats mate! A uk on an M plate as well, very unusual!
  2. Lol well i wonder if at first they thought it was just spinning up the right rear wheel... bwhahahaha far more than by by 600 dollars!
  3. Was it drained of fluid? (ive got to say both of the boxes i had to move were full of juice still.
  4. I'll agree with you there, when i sold the autobox from mine to a fella up in the NE i met him half way and transfered it from my soggy laguna into his microscopic 106. the car came up about 6" to meet us as we lifted it out between us (that heavy!) and when we popped it into his 106 it nearly hit the bottom of the springs. Must be 100kg+ no way i could lift it on my own. Not that im particularly strong but id like to thnk of my self in reasonable condition early, (ish) 20;s lol...
  5. dam heavy! I can just lift a manual box, i carried one maybe 10 meters to the back of my car and nearly put it through the boot of my laguna! I would say a box is easy 70kg-75kg? then easy another 25kg of shit with it (clutch, flywheel stikc links, pedals, booster tanks, balance bar etc etc)
  6. Lol... I did wonder when you would be along. Infact i even checked your profile to see when you were last online last night! Not a stalker honest.
  7. Lol sorry bud, if im honest i've had a bit of a crush on this car ever since stenorth bought it in the first place. I nearly went for it last time before kirbz had it so it had to be fate! Besides, it was a long drive for you, just 15 mins for me! :) So i saved you the fuel hehe. (If you want any looking at nearby let me know I can view and report for you if you like mate)
  8. I know... but GOOD ones dont come up that often ;)
  9. There are some nice NA manuals out and about at the moment. There is a lovely blue swb on piston heads. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1141141.htm Also ths has just appeared (or i've not noticed it before!) http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1195616.htm Now that looks a pretty car, needs a bit of work tidying the interior but looks straight outwards! Although of course cnat say until you've seen it. Also this, http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1388896.htm Thats a nice looking UK car I know its an auto BUT its not a big job to change it to a manual these days!
  10. Hehe was going to say, cool watches as they are if it were the alienware brand it would be 10x that price! lol
  11. I Have to agree dude. End of the day surely all you were looking for was a way to blow of some steam, im sure she knows where you were at situation wise and should understand if you want to throw the anchors out! Besides who cares, just don't call her! :)
  12. any that double as a butt plug?? ;) You sure they are Alienware?? Or Alien work??
  13. Lol aye well i went from a 323i coupe to my grey one, back to an M3 evo and now back to a 300zx again. Anyone noticing a pattern? LOL
  14. My old one used to saw it read -3 once was interesting getting home!
  15. Exactly this being SWB slicky with a little steering wheel! Really looking forward to havnig one to drive regularly again! Still got to get rid of the m3 though!
  16. It was minus 8 in the next village last xmas day, but only minus 6 here... Plenty cold enough for me! The steep hill from my house was like glass down to the village! Started at walking pace (less than!) in my van and ended up doing 20mph before i got traction again. Scary!
  17. Lol its just so tedius! Although I will be honest my grey one never let me down ni 13k and 2 years! However the m3 is just so quiet and civilised. Infact it was half my issue, 95% of the time it wouldnt have made any difference if it was a 328i. Where as at 15mph a 300zx feels just as silly and special at 10 times that!
  18. hmm not too bad actually :) You could always go for a trial fit you liked. Much better than viper wings! :)
  19. hehe makes it quick pete :D
  20. Im affraid im abit of an OEM perve... Apart from wheels of course. I like the 300zx in a pure (ish) form not as bad as si mind! To be fair, show me bomex skirts as im not exactly sure which ones they are!
  21. Aye me too, its about time. Been itching for a while! Cheers mate! I wondered how long it would be before you pipped up! Its got nasty turbos though ;)
  22. I'll put the beating stick down for now... bomex skirts can wait for another car as well!
  23. Have a slight issue with the drive at the moment, I may have to devise an ingenious plan to get it on and off it as its a bit lower (and in better nick than me old grey LWB)
  24. No dont be silly... I'll come and beat you if you ruin your car with that! Go buy an NA Auto... (oh hang on!)... Nah I suppose they look okay on some heavily modified cars but NOT on such a lovely example of a rare vert!
