  3. Ohh dont know this one, not seen it about i shall keep a beady eye out!
  4. There is some talk about this in the advanced NA tuning forum, your subscribed so should be able to see it. Have a read in there. Other that I dont know, although im sure someone else will be more helpfull :)
  5. Right guys, i need a B&B for 5 nights in late august for just me Needs to be as cheap as possible, not bothered about how nice it is, just somewhere to put my head. Ive had a look around and to be honest got bored, so if anyone lives in the area and can recommend somewhere thats just cheap cheap cheap and simple that'll do me just grand! Doesnt even have to be that close to beer or seaton, few miles outside is no problem at all. But as close to beer as possible lol. Can anyone help me?? :)
  6. Awesome! Need pictures! What have you ordered for it?
  7. I'll try again! Dam laptop crashed It'll be somthing similar to what we've done i expect, we went with narrow gauge theme so we could have tighter radii and larger "sit in" locos/stock as apposed to "sit on" I think its about 1/3 of a mile long and has a 60' tunnel and a 30' girder bridge arranged in two "p loops" with a 2 platform station in the middle Dad and I recently took our loco up to comrie in scotland for the 7 1/4 agm in september, found a couple of pics from it if anyone is interested, the red loco with the grey trucks are ours, complete with dad driving. The other loco was a resident i think, (although there was a visiting K36 up from kent as well (long way!))
  8. Good man! We have a large 00 gauge layout in the loft (both dad and I very keen on railways) Ours is almost all bachmann, ive a few hornby bits from younger days though, and a huge quantity of 3 rail if anyone remembers that stuff? If you've got good eyes then n gauge is certainly a good way to go, just ever so tiny but obviously you can get some phenominal layouts within quite a small space Dad and I have since moved onto out door stuff though and have built a 7 1/4 railway in the garden. Tis wonderful!
  9. Hmm i had a renault laguna as a work hack for a bit, that was fairly poor. Paid £460 for it and it did me 12k, but by the time it came round to MOT, heaters had all failed, high pressure hose on the powersteering had popped, clutch was at best "intermitant" lol rear subframe bushes had dropped out (made it interesting in a side wind, it used to wriggle a few inches on the suspension from side to side lol) front brake disks were as thin as tin. So it went to the big scrap yard in the sky for £100 LOL I have a mate who had a hyundai pony he paid £50 for half a tank of juice, ran it for 3 months and sold it for £60 with no juice lol...Problem was it would idle so to keep it running it had to be held at half throttle, full if it was wet lol Also a guy i used to work with (he ran a computer company, networking and sold hardware etc) was once called up by an old customer stating that his hard disk had failed in his pc and how much for a 40GB hard disk (in the days that they were about £50 ish) after being told the price he mused and asked Dave, "would you accept a suzuki SJ413?" and so Dave became the proud owner of suzi...! He once called me in utmost excitment proclaiming he had overtaken a mopedist LOL. My god it was an awful car!
  10. Ahh fair enough lol. Nevermind! Slow internet connection makes it time consuming to read several pages of a thread LOL
  11. Ive a pass out from the wife... LOL so im in, shes even moving house that weekend and let me be sociable...! So im defo in, will paypal you the money at the weekend brian, im struggling with dial up speed internet in worcester tonight.... dam gprs effort of a connection tonight!
  12. I know exactly what you mean, my mum asked me to get her a lego set off ebay for her boyfriend... i figured WTF and had a look at what she wanted, Number 8275, the motorised bulldozer. Arrived it was an absolute animal, so i wrapped it up and she gave it to him for xmas... It ate at me for 3 weeks and i snapped... and bought one for my self, took me just shy of 8 hours to build, 1400 parts or so and 3 instruction manuals but its amazing it really is. Even brought down my old technic models from when i was a kid (okay im only 22 now, but really 2 old to be playing with lego) it is amazing tho i have to admit!
  13. LOL i never knew this either! damit, ive sold my car want to buy another one just to try this function!
  14. For everyone?! :D Put me down... Or i'll put me down :).... I've put me down!
  15. me either! No gas for me in the north! and with oil prices dropping our central heating oil/ aga oil is now much more attractive!
  16. Ahh fair enough. Didnt know that :) Come to the darkside mate, honestly German Performance is odd, you have to keep looking at the speedo to believe whats happening! Whats mad as well, is that the gauges are accurate at 70mph on the m3, the gps says 70. Its bang on! Best thing, is go to kendal to the porker dealer and have a look (or if there is anything closer near you perhaps??)
  17. Ive gone for an Xperian X1, lovely phone. Well impressed with it!
  18. Surely it would be a step up in power? Whats the griff 320bhp? When it was new lol Even a base 996 is 300bhp from the 3.4, i admit they are a bit heavier but 0-60 suffers from 4.1 to 4.9 from what i can see. Also 911 is the original supercar you can use! And think of the fuel economy, ive read that a griff 500's combined is 14.4mpg where as a 3.6 996 will apparently manage 25.4... Lol think of the fuel saving. Bear in mind if you find a turbo they are 420bhp+! :D 0-60 in 3.9!
  19. I dont understand why i have to pay a premium every year? Its like owning somthing and having to pay for it each year. Once i buy a TV or a car its my possesion, once ive purchased insurance cover it should be until i use it? An absolute joke of all the thousands of pounds ive spent and to be honest, its done nothing for me apart from make my phone bill more expensive when having to call them. I hate insurance companies with a passion, much like banks they serve no real purpose and are a parasite on society!
  20. got to be less than 10 years old it seems as well. That does limit things somewhat! A start at least! http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/advert+search/Ne-2-4-5-6-7-8-27-44-49-53-61-64-67-103-133-146-236,N-12-108-145-240/search.action?showMoreOptions=&formSearchParams=Ne%3D2%2B4%2B5%2B6%2B7%2B8%2B27%2B44%2B49%2B53%2B61%2B64%2B67%2B103%2B133%2B146%2B236%26N%3D12%2B108%2B145%2B240&sort=p_VehiclePrice&make=&model=&min_pr=&max_pr=1000&max_mileage=&lc_channel=cars&dealerGroupId=&dealerId=&radius=1500&postcode=la29pw&e_source=&e_make=&e_min_pr=Ne%3D2%2B4%2B5%2B6%2B7%2B8%2B27%2B44%2B49%2B53%2B61%2B64%2B67%2B103%2B133%2B146%2B236%26N%3D12%2B108%2B240%2B145%2B15&e_colour=&e_model=&e_mileage=&e_doors=&keywords=&ukcarsearch_full.x=27&ukcarsearch_full.y=8

  24. Two bumpers and a head light? Doesnt look that bad at all to me! Tail gate seems to sit square so thats a good sign. Chances are its just crumpled part of the exhaust or bent it.
