  1. NORTH WEALD (drag races & sprint course) Location: 3 miles northeast from Epping, Essex, on A1161 (OS map ref 167/490038). Address: North Weald Drag Strip, North Weald, London NW5 4JS.
  2. In Essex, was a brilliant day last year. Some fookin mad Skylines, bikes and some american muscle. A good mix of stuff going up the strip. Be good to get some Z's there. Anyone fancy it?
  3. Thats a shame mate. As you say, you haven't got to go far! All the best.
  4. AVO springs were listed as 35mm drop but I would say its more like 30mm, pretty perfect I reckon. I am really pleased with them. It sits really nice. Thanks for that mate.
  5. Any idea where you will get your KYB's from? and what kind of price are they then? Thanks.
  6. Blow up dolls are getting more and more life-like these days! Your one will start telling you to spend more time with it rather than the Z soon! :)
  7. Only just fitted new standard Nissan's on the rear, so will prob stick with them. AVO progressive springs all round.
  8. Wait till you see Stu's John, it looked very simple.
  9. I dislocated my thumb just the other weekend on Stu's car. Still a bit sore now actually Mr Waterman! lol. We were both having a fight with the front wheel after the locking wheel nut wasn't playing game.
  10. John, are you getting or do you have already a series 2 ptu? I have read a few times that these never fail!
  11. Yes, thats just what I was thinking! LOL. Its Koni's from Whifbitz at the mo, £99 each.

Have a look through these links for the usual suspects. There quite a few things it could be. Chunk's prob was the connection on the l/h/s of ptu which seems to be a favourite. http://www.zhome.com/ZCMnL/PICS/hes...hesitation.html and also http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/F.../hesitate2.html
  14. Can't seem to find one but its over by the fuel filter kinda way IIRC. Q Stu.......
  15. I'm just about to and Stu (smw) did the other week. There is plenty of slack. Let me find a pic of Stu's for you......
  16. Or you could just re-locate it.
  17. My series 2 from Courtesy came with everything to do a straight swap.
  18. Which one's? Where from? How much? Ta very much! (don't need springs or rears)
  19. Smithy........ I got a bit of a shopping list building up, RPS clutch, flywheel and u/drive pulley. Shoot me a pm dude with how much??? Cheers.
  20. You still go that problem Andy? The Mrs must be climbing the wall by now. BTW, 3 points at the mo, had 9 a couple of years ago.
  21. Hmmm, the 1 opinion I did have maybe wrong!! Come on everyone - what clutch have you got? You manual lot aren't as helpful as auto owners, lol. (cheers Russ)
  22. I've got to pipe up about the 'Jap' thing. I doubt if there is anyone who takes offence to the abbreviation of United Kingdom to 'UK'. When someone types 'UK' I don't think they have no manners. Its just a hell of alot easier - as is 'Jap' instead of Japanese. Its as simple as that, no issue there at all. Making one, imho does more harm than good than the original accusation. If we said chicken chow mein spec then I could see your point, but we dont and I don't see yours. But thats all it is, I am disagreeing with you, nothing personal. If we were in the pub having this conversation we would have another gulp of beer (or Babycham if it was with Ryan) and start talking about something else. Anyway, fookin weather, I wanted to work on the Z today.
  23. Thanks Vijay. Is that it? ONE opinion???
  24. Visually for starters. Not the actual coilpack, the connector is most likely. Then after that take a coilpack out and put a spark plug in and touch it to earth - making sure not to get a shock!!
  25. LMFAO!!!! Sorry mate......... I had no idea.
