I would say for the money a GTR set up is a good way forward. I used to have huge discs but with standard caliper and I felt it was only half the job done and ended up selling them. I've now gone for the best I could get hold of but in standard size. Thats Brembo grooved discs (from 3G) Porterfield pads, braided brake lines, master cyl brace and top brake fluid.......although I've still to fit the braided lines.

The clicking when you hit the brakes in reverse is usually always the pivot bolts for the tension rods that need tightening. Trevz - is yours the dreaded "caliper creak"? Type that into the SEARCH and have a little read.

Totally agree. It was a shame I had my Z a couple of years before finding this place, I didn't have internet access though. Have learnt so much from here and am very grateful for that and everyone's help. I only belong to this forum but I do tell myself that the others for other cars can't be nearly as good as here!

My mate went last year and said it wasn't too bad. The major factor seemed to be that girl from Eastenders - she was everywhere in there! and not wearing much either.

You don't wait for it to dry- you throw it in the bin, then get an Apexi or Blitz, lol. Seriously, shake off as much as you can then a couple of hours I guess should do it.
