  1. Today is becoming a v good day for me. Hankie is in the bin and I am walking with head held high..........
  2. I'm dying to see a Z with all the swage lines filled in but no kit........would look superb I reckon. Was very close to doing this but a Stillen kit just happened to come my way....LOL. Try Z Centre for the replacement rubber.
  3. Thanks peeps. It was taking so long to show any temp increase, I thought I'd done something wrong.........must just be extra efficient now!
  4. Ita Jap Auto and I had an extra autobox rad fitted some time ago, which I guess is why there are no pipes connected? And ok to leave to air? They would have been ever since the autobox cooler was fitted and been fine. Thanks. Steve...........course I have :slap: LOL.
  5. I had a metal end tank fabricated on my std radiator, Koyo not in the budget for the minute. Anyway, its been off for ages and fitted last night. I just want to check there are no pipes/hose that go onto the 2 pipes/nipples on the r/h/s of the rad. Otherwise I guess they just go to air? (as you're looking at it from the front). Not explained it very well, a pic would be better but at work now so not able to. Thing is, I ran the car for 10-15 mins and the rad hardly got hot and temp needle barely moved. I fitted a hard pipe kit at the same time. Thanks.
  6. Sorry mate.........you did say for someone to pretend to have seen you.

Tim!! Good to see you dropping past mate. Cerbera is looking sweet.......still my fav TVR I think........low and mean.
  8. (I haven't got the heart to tell him I was making it up)
  9. I saw some NOS octane booster the other day that boosted the rating up by 6 points..... it was about £8 to treat a tankfull......... I think I might have to try some. Can you "over octane" your Z???
  10. Similar to those on Strosek front I guess..........been looking around for some but no luck. Any suggestions gratefully received.
  11. SE's boost upgrade does not touch the ECU, that is a fact. Not slagging that off cos mine has run sweet as with that for 3 years or so now. As others have suggested, chip the ECU and get a boost controller. The Profec B is an excellent start.
  12. Ok...............later! ............sniff.............
  13. Please don't make me cry
  14. There is an excellent auto-electricain around the corner to me, in Beckenham, SE London. They are called Metrolec and phone no. is 02086505363. They have worked on my Z before and all of my cars I think! Ask for Colin, tell him James with the silver 300zx gave you their number if you call.
  15. Have a look at Z Centre's http://www.zcentre.co.uk/interior/leather.shtml
  16. Can't wait dude - aiming for JAE for mine too.
  17. Nice one Leigh..........when do they go on?
  18. As title.........was wondering if the Z in there is anyone's from here? Might be getting some gear from them and just wondered what they were like.
  19. Thought you said you were going to try to photoshop them? I mean, thats a pic of them actually on isn't it?
  20. Chris, my thoughts are with you and Sarah bud and of course with her dad. Makes you realise how precious life is and those who are in it that you love.
  21. Def no wider than 235 on the fronts Leigh. My old wheels were 10j rear and at one point I had 285's on. But if I were you 265 sounds just right for 9.5j.
