Yes, have got this bypass on mine at the mo. I (well, SE) used a metal u-bend kind of pipe thing. Mine has been like this for 2 winter's now and it gets a bit chilly, let me tell you! When you order your new matrix, do yourself a favour and get it from Courtesy! There is a "dash in" way of doing it that takes between 4-5 hours. I will find the link to it if you want?

Have I done something to my computers display settings ? cos the type on here, all of a sudden seems to of gone BIG Everything else seems to be ok, ie, HOTMAIL. Am I going mad? :rolleyes:

This can only be considered a good idea........you and Wazza getting together on this one? I will gladly write up the bits and bobs I've undertaken on my Z and if everyone did that it would be an excellent reference section! (we can nick SRRAE's recent posts for starters!) Anyone who's looked at that must agree how good it was. SMW1 has written up all he's done.......GIO aswell I think........we're well on the way to a brilliant section I think........... Something new on here to get stuck into will be really good. I'm just going through my mind the jobs I've done (urgh!) on my Z......there a quite a few, much the same as most I guess! If they were all documented........people might be directed HERE instead of elsewhere! So more hits......more members........its all good.

Ah, the coolant temp sensor..........that little bugger is responsible for alot! Good way to tell if its faulty is if your little elec fan is permanently running.

Insurance Factory are another good one and pretty sure they don't specify it has to be 2nd car. Have you thought about getting another car though? Having one on classic free's up your NCB so it may be cheaper than you think to run 2 vehicles. Its what I'm going to do......mark 2 8v golf coming up......... I'll be able to buy one with what I'll save on insurance, AND it'll do nicely to chuck the surf board in! :D
