Who's got that video where the camera is right on the back wheel, the Z is stationary and on full lock you see the rear wheel turn slightly. b19rks? clarkey? warren? my memory isn't what it used to...........erm.......what was I saying? Anyway-I was also under the impression that the hicas only kicked in at speed but this video proves otherwise.

You can't tell how a Z runs by a photo. The bodywork is the least of your worries with a 300.

I don't think there IS a better suggestion! Thats what I have done and thought is was the best possible solution.

The guy I bought my Z from (who I still talk to now and then) has just got a GTO, it came up for the right price, not because he particularly wanted one. I asked him what it as like and he said while it looked ok, it was nothing like the Z, he said you could hardly compare the 2.

That screw is very close to the door, you're right, you have to be careful, lie on the ground and do it maybe? Even then you can only get your fingers on the screwdriver and not your hand wrapped around it. You got a socket set? Put a phillips attachment onto a ratchet and do it that way. It must be these that aren't tight. I've had my mirror to bits and these are the only screws that hold them onto the arm.

Mine has gone wrong a few times and all the time its running like sh1te-you wanna sell it. But when its all fixed and running sweet you just know there's no way you're gonna part with it. I know how you feel though bud but hang in there........read as much as poss, learn what you can and maybe try fixing it yourself? Good luck.

You mean the actual mirror INSIDE the casing or the WHOLE mirror? If the latter, there are 3 small phillips screws directly underneath the mirror casing body, these may be loose.
