  1. Ah yes, I do like a holiday..........or 6. Stu says I have too many! Better not say I'm going to Portugal in Sept and .........HAWAII in October! :D :D :D
  2. There.......thats better.
  3. I have just registered a domain and know nothing about HTML but am guessing I will have to learn....... I dont have to suck donkeys balls do I?  ........quarter of sherbert lemons please. Oh, and I'll pay the papers while I'm here.
  4. Yeah - but thats only a Silvia, so it doesn't matter
  5. 51x..........whats that bloomin red dot on your sig? its got me twice now thinking it was something on my monitor.......well, nearly! A-ha!!! just clicked on it! didn't realise it was the smallest link in the world!!!
  6. There are alot of guides and step-by-step stuff to servicing around. You should try and do as much as poss yourself. Its so much more rewarding, saves you money and you get to know your Z more. And unless you've heard good reports about your local Nissan dealer then I wouldn't touch them.......that is just my opinion of course! Ah.......near Makro?
  7. Oxford, 3 hours.
  8. Yeah, post up a pic if you don't mind.
  9. Where abouts are you bud? (and welcome!)
  10. Ah, Stu! You've saved this thread from going into the zero replies bin. I'm changing it into an 'irrevelant' thread now........ Table no.6 please, near the fire exit.
  11. So the suppliers are in Japan? (for the bits for sale)
  12. No.......only need to read it the once, thanks. ;) Are we disagreeing about something? We both want him to get a good car don't we? I don't want him to get one that looks good only and is ready to break down due to coilpacks, injectors, gearbox, radiator, ptu, turbo's. etc etc etc.....get my drift?
  13. My Friday madness has come a day early...........
  14. Yeah, thats him. I didn't go for the "Lambo" rims in the end.
  15. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18346&highlight=mist
  16. What? ................What do you want?
  17. Ammar.........I think I was going to buy some wheels from your mate in Ilford a while back. Was he also selling a silver Z with some kit bits on it? (sorry to go off topic for a sec)
  18. Pads LOOK ok or ARE ok?? If you have the creak then cleaning and copper slipping is not going to help. The creak occurs when the pads run low and the pistons for the calipers have to be pushed out further to brake. You say 'crunching' though so doesn't sound like caliper creak anyway.
  19. Works for me Stu....... (not long now mate!) I like the wheels on the red one and the de-lined white one.
  20. Who's produced the catalogue?
  21. What REALLY does p1ss me off is that £5k gets you one regardless of what state it is in. And why? and no offence meant, because people are buying these when they don't know the first thing about them and getting ripped off. Thus pushing the price of 'the good ones' down. Come on guys, do your research on these cars, if you dont know about them then take someone who does. That way the right people will benefit......now and in the long run.
  22. He hasn't said how good it is.......just how good it LOOKS. YOU wake and smell the coffee.
  23. Nothing is wrong with the Z Centre at all............it is my favourite place! But they dont carry out engine work. You NEED to take someone with you that knows their stuff. This is not an opinion, it is a FACT. Otherwise it could end in tears, expensive tears. This one maybe spot on, but you got to make sure.
  24. You say £1.5k on engine.............do you have details? And you also said work done at the Z Center???? I'm not being rude but do you know your 300's? One that looks good cosmeticly is still worth peanuts if its not mechanicly sound. It seems you've pretty much made up your mind.....just be careful bud......and air on the side of caution!
  25. Sounds too much for sure. As people have said, buy one for £5k or even £6k then you have a couple of grand left for repairs/mods of your OWN choice.
