  1. Just remember to disconnect the battery! Erm.............cos I didn't when I took mine off and nearly welded my screwdriver to it! Making yourself jump like that in a confined space cannot be good for you.

  3. The only time you should have to use this is when the engine is not running. (you do know that pressing the brake activates the little sensor?)

  10. I guess it will be the battery not having enough power to spin the motor. But you never know! Mine ended up being both more or less at the same time!
  11. Yes, its the sender that gets clogged and then gives a false reading. Will an aftermarket gauge run off a different sender then? I went for oil temp in mine.

  14. There are 2 possibilties; duff battery / starter motor.
  15. I looked at the Sony's and they seemed to start at around £300. I've also seen Panasonic or Sharp etc for £200. I would always go for one a bit more expensive but my mum doesn't really care about it tbh, probably wont even be able to operate it!!

  24. You guys helped me out with my camera and got an excellent Fuji that I'm really pleased with. Now my Mum (no jokes please!) has asked me to get her a digital camcorder but only wants an entry level one (cheap I guess).........but one I will nick to use aswelll of course!!!! Cheers everyone.
