i actually enquired about that car when i was looking to get zed - i wasnt gonna pay for than 4500 - he wanted min 5000grand - glad i didnt because the one i found i think was much better suited for me. it was on ebay at one point

bought it already with the filter on - so no. will have to try the scrappy as i've got to go get the cam covers anyway

it actually doesnt make any difference to performance (well i cant notice it anyway) - i bought it for looks and to handle future mods. No difference on temp guage but we havnt had any really hot days lately anyway. Next on the list is zemulator and doolz v2 as at the moment everytime it rains i seem to get water suck thru my airfilter as i have a mushroom hks filter. for now though i'm going to make a plastic plate up to cover it up from water dripping though the nose cone. i believe this intercooler cost me 311 to 350 quid ( including £28 pounds worth of import tax)

they are 350z drilled and grooved brake discs and evo 4 pot brembo calipers (when looking at pics - change magnifying glass zoom percentage to 20%)

just had an email back from the manufacturers who want to make them for me asking how i'm getting on on sourcing the original product so i can make modification to it for an easy pull on on off and not having to worry about rad pipes. So is there anyone around who has a set of cam covers i could purchase or is it a trip to the scrappy?

has anyone else around the east anglia area got any cam covers laying around then? need to start quite soon?

the uk seem to be alot of money - even sourcing a place abroad with low labour cost and low material costs i have found still to be expensive. Not just getting one made though - should get about 25 to 50 of them to sell on more than likely. For example i've had places quote 7000 dollars for the steel mold!! Yeah if you can dig a good set out - that would be great- can pay you over paypal if know one else can come up closer where i maybe could collect from?

Hi guys - i've found a place abroad that is going to make me some clear timing belt covers out of polycarbonate (same mataerial used on the rb26 engine and the evo engine) What i need is a set of original cam covers so they can make a prototype of them, i am willing to pay the these covers of course. But going to need them quite sharpish Plus any views on them. As the PTU (i think its called) connects to these - was going to get it placed elsewhere and the holes filled up. Would look better i think or would it look better with a polished ptu on the clear cams instead? Look forward to ALL of your replies Cheers

Hi guys. i urgently need a picture of cam belt covers - anything that insnt just a thumbnail would be great - snag is it needs to be a pic of them out of the engine bay so i can see the whole thing - so if anyone has a pic of them or there engine is out - plz plz plz can i see it. cheers guys

cheers for that greg - i've got the funny feeling i could be in touch if i hit a snag - (more than likely) - gona take engine out i think as gonna put in uprated clutch at the same time, will upgrade tubs end of this year so will then put out engine again as havnt got an extra 2000 grand spare for some 675rs' (think there the ones) - thinking of buying an engine lift - cheap as chips 160 quid - free delivery - bargain

hi guys, i've noticed knocking when starting car, diagnosis is main bearings (shells) etc. sorry not the most mechanically minded. where would i get them from and who would you guys use to get them replaced - i'm in east anglia but can travel. have you guys had it done and would you recommmend anybody and how much did it cost you? Crank may have to be re-grounded too. ( crap )

wow the 675 rs are really cool, little over my price range but will have to save a little bit more as it looks like i'm gona have to get new downpipes and manifolds too. - i take it i'm on the right lines with getting 740cc injectors, 94 onwards fuel rail, zemulator, and doolz to go with? - (in the back of my head - all i can think is - this is gona kill me (my wallet that is) lol. already got fmic intercooler - should be here tuesday - so that will give me somthing to do next week

How much are you looking at? i can remember, last month magnum was selling his hks 2530's for 1600 - so there are some bargains around.

i notice theres a fair few people in the uk with aftermarket tubs on their z's. i'm looking at hks 2530's or the greddy td05 20g (i think) i want decent bhp at least 500+ - but i'm worried about spool up time on the greddy turbo - how long does it take? or at what revs does it kick in off the line. i'm more into track than drag thats why i'm considering the hks as its got a really good spool up time according to reviews. as anyone got any info as some of you have these tubs already? how do they compare with response on stock tubs? cheers

sounds different to mine - yours as more of a higher tone - could be because my engine has had nothing near what yours has (yet) so whose now gona post a lip/sound byte of their twin - someone must have one lying round and what to people think to the one of ebay if i was to go for twin exit?

by the way i've just fitted hids - and had to do the earthing thing so full beam and hids come on at same time

Hi Guys , Can anybody help with a problem with dash lights . Need to find the dimmer module that is fed from the rocker switch . It is something to do with earth supply as if I connect earth to feed the dash bulbs they all light up , but no dimming effect . Does anybody know were the modiule is . Thanks also this was posted in z related discussions too - accidentally - should have looked further before plonking it in a room.
