  9. Hi, Looking at electronic boost controllers and have done a quick search, everyone seems to favour the Greddy profec B -spec 2, is this firstly enough equipment on a stock car with free flow exhaust and intake and chip to run at high enough psi to get around 350 at the flywheel? (the car is in good working order) Secondly, an easy kit to install and thirdly, have resale value? As i ideally want this for around a year while i save for a higher spec engine and aem etc :hyper: oh and is this the right greddy part number - Part number: 15500210? Cheers for any help! Ste

  16. Isn't it the same story as the really old movie, the ..... man - can't remember and its doing my head in!
  17. Yep! Its a "from the cats back system"
  18. Not an expert by any means mate but overfuelling is often caused by one of the measuring devices not working properly, sounds like mayb the o2 sensors or AFM are not working properly. AFM is easy to get to, try it first un clip it and see if the car runs better although your revs will be limited, if it is the o2 sensors, not that difficult to do just awkward as its on the exhaust manifolds and hard to get out after 15 odd years of high temps. Have you been in any really bad weather recently as the AFM doesn't like this much? Let us know how you get on Cheers Ste
  19. I really like this, awesome spec and i really like the design with the diff and box mounted at the back, perfect weight distribution!

  23. Hi, thanks yeh, i've done quite abit of reading on the recon itself and my options, specifically looking for a company name/ contact info that come recommended for the balancing itself as this requires machinery i can't readily get hold of! Cheers Ste
  24. I think am yes, the radiator seems to pressurise quite abit and only one cylinder seemed to be down, although not as much as id expect on a compression test, so i am working on the presumtion that its holding pressure against the water gallery? Does that sound reasonable? What are the usual causes of a gasket failure, do they sometimes degrade just through use or is a contributing factor more likely. I'm still learning and abit unsure of myself, any advice on non-specfic books would be great! Cheers Ste
