They are Stern 3/2 piece split rims. I had a set but had to sell them :-( Spooky seeing them in that situation. Not nice. RIP.

Had no idea this was coming. As some of you know I parked the zed up at the show and shine at Jap Show Finale which was being judged by Banzai Magazine. I didn't hang around for the judging results and thought that was the last of it. Had a flick through Banzai last night in Asda on the way home and saw two pictures of my car and some very complimentary words. How chuffed am I??!!! Glad to see they agree with the "Less is More" philosophy!! Anyone else spot it?

Nm or Lbs?

There is always talk about wheel nuts coming loose when it gets cold. Just wondered if anyone knew what is the recomended torque setting for wheel nuts for the zed?? Thanks in advance. (Yes, I have recently bought a torque wrench and am looking for things to do with it!!) Andy

Remind me mate are we talking SWB or LWB? Either way, mine came with the car and I have been looking for over two years in the UK with no joy. Concept Z and Z1 have a good range but shipping and duty make things expensive. I would recomend going for slash cut with a slight stagger. I have spoken to Alunox and Custom Chrome Racing who both say they can do a custom system. I would say Alunox do a better finish having seen both systems in the flesh. John Dixon knows the guys at Alunox really well so might be worth having a word with him. I might come up to the xmas bash - I've never met Jeff before. I think Ianl might be coming up too. Andy

Hi Steve, Mazda do a red that looks like flat red but when the sun hits it it lights up as it has a metalic flake. I know it has been used the 5 door saloon might be a 6? Andy

I saw one Behind Aquascrotum in a service road just off Regent Street. Wow! - that must be some new german super car. It just looked so menacing and purposeful in a mid metalic blue. I could not belive it when I saw Nissan on the badge. I was then fortunate enough to go and work with a friend of mine in a Nissan dealership just outside Windsor. We a small dealership so didn't have a 300zx on as a demo car!!!!!:no: However.................. Nissan GB was just up the road in Denham, so if I wanted to demo a 300zx to a customer, all I had to do was drive up in my little 1.3s Micra and swap it for a 300zx:clap: You may be surprised to here that nearly all of my customers wanted to demo the car late on a friday afternoon :whistling::whistling::whistling: I had never had such fun demonstrating this car to potential customers and seeing their knuckles turn white on a trip round some of my favourite roads. If you can imagine how these cars performed brand new out of the factory - they were stunning!!:devil2: Oh no!! This meant that by the time I took the car back to head office there would be no-one there to give it to! So poor old me would have to keep the car as my demo car for the whole weekend - Driving it to work and back and then driving it fri, sat and sun night.:shuriken: Well after doing this 8 or 9 time in both manual and automatic versions I promised my self that one day I have one all to myself....... Prices came down and my no claims bonus went up and I am now on my second one!! Still think they are a very good looking car - possibly the only z with super car 'aspirations' IMHO. Andy
