Official monthy pub meet thread
Really good to meet everyone. Craig - looking forward to seeing those finishing touches done to yours :-) - I think you will have a good little car there when it's finished. More to the point - your cousin was right to ask if Pablito is gay. I think we all are open minded enough not to hold this against him. However when we we stood next to each other having a wee in the gents toilets, he did wee on my shoe and winked at me. Not sure what to make of that - "that's a bit worrying" Oh yes and Sherrgar was stood the other side of me and I can confirm there is good reason for his user name as he had to use both hands and stand two foot away from the urinal in order to take a piss. Pablito spent the rest of the afternoon talking to Sherrgar.... "that's a bit worrying" Andy

My new GTIII lip
Yeah i think you made the right choice. the N/A type 3 tries to look like a tt front bumper with the side vents. Looks great from the front but looks slightly wrong from other angles. Here's a front on shot of it that most people love - I'm trying to get there with mine - will put some pictures up soon!

Japfest anyone?
Great event! Got a chance to go out in Jaffas swb slicky (cheers bud) which was amazing! Only downside was getting into a conversation with Sick Pete about suspension damping!! :-) Zclub had two stands last year as well as track time and it was awesome!!! I had my car on the Z's through time stand - which was nice! ;-)

Yes I am but you still haven't told everyone what you did do that gay man in the toilets at the Gay Pride after party....... Have you bonded it on yet? I have a fixing kit here for it BTW!

Plenum polish
Cheers Graham. It would be great to see more people doing the centre channel and hiding the wires away. You may as well now you have gone this far!! Come on Bud you are used to playing with wires!!!! As for chroming I would not recommend for the reasons you stated. Also, any marks you get through knocks or scratches are easily polished out. The one thing that has surprised me over the last year or two on mine is how low maintenance it has been. The key is to polish it as fine as you can while it's off the car, put a wax polish on like RimWax or Colonite then every now and again give it a touch up. I only got a few light speckles after leaving mine untouched for 6 months last year. Either way - nice work buddy!
