  1. Groover you can not do anything unless the person in question was directing the comment at some one. An overheard conversation is just that - overheard. People can walk away. The persons who where being directly insulted all weekend, me included are capable of taking it on the chin and we are not complaining!!! It's called banter. Some one suggested inviting Roy Chubby Brown can you imagine him live!!! As Stellaz said, if you don't like it, change channel ( oh no, now you've made me agree with Stellaz!!)
  2. Ooooh I can't remember that bit!! I'll tell him off next time i see him for ya! How about that!! I'm sure he didn't mean to offend anyone.
  3. The judging/ prizes thing needs a re-vamp. On my iphone at the mo but will let you know what I mean later. Some of us had a chat about this at the show. Laters!!
  4. More food. Not just the cheapest we can find. I'm happy to do an afternoons cooking and maybe a breakfast or two. I'd like to see chicken, lamb, pork, and steak next year. Failing that I will bring my own again to share out. Sweet corn went down well and is cheap and easy to cook. Some decent full English breakfast items would also be good.
  5. Go for it! You're looking at £220ish for the lip from Mike at MJP delivered to your door. I can get my guy to do the tram line delete, intercooler duct bars delete, indicator smoke, fix fog ducts or smoke fog lights, attaching the lip including polyurethane welding!! (never even new it existed!), paint the black strip and bottom lipwith the curve at the back edge for around £400. That is quite cheap for the amount of work and the finish he does!! I can let you have his number if you want to chat to him. Lol!! No idea who that idiot was!! Stuck for word on your last comments, thank you very much!! Choose me!! I give blood at the orphanage every Saturday! Gary tortures puppies for fun!! Cheers mate, can't decide on the wheel colour..... may end up silver?? Confused.com!! LOL!! go on then, you tell everyone the "truth" Don't encourage him!!! Mini meet sounds good, I know Mr Burns is up for it. Early start up to Santapod this saturday if you are up for it?
  6. Wow! Thanks for that Mate. Glad you like it Sir! Made me chuckle!! Talk about perfect timing!! Thanks for the comments Smithy. High praise coming from your self. You did get me going a few years back as I remember in Billing! Cheers Gary. Back at you my friend. Your Shortie is very much my cup of tea also. Not sure what you mean bud but just find someone who can work with polyurethane and get it just as you want it. Good luck and keep us informed!! Cheers Mate. Yeah the hat earned me the name broke back Z at the weekend so it may be a fashion faux par. But you know me.......... do I care?!!! lol! Hello Buddy!! Long time no see!! Hope you are well. Now bugger of back round Europe in your Jag!!!! Seriously though pmme your mobile number, we need to hook up!
  7. Here you go mate! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=154486
  8. Thanks for that Jeff. Top man!!
  9. Even got a couple of runner up trophies for Most Modified and Best Body Kit at the weekend!! Whoop whoop!! Anyway, hope you like!!!! Rear lights next....................... :shuriken::shuriken::shuriken:
  10. Well peeps for those who are interested here is the full nine yards!! This has always been one of my favourite Z photos- I think Nissan got the front end almost right from day one apart from 4 small things. 1. The tram lines that run along the top edge of the bumper (I don't know what it is with nissan and two lines!! - don't get me started on 99 spec rear lights!!) 2. The bars in the intercooler ducts were too fussy. 3. The side profile had a bit of an overbite. 4. That bloody stone guard! So I decided to look around at 99 spec, Greddy Gracer, Twinz, Abflug etc but found myself wanting to keep things faithfull to the old design. After speaking to Mike Feaney back in 2009 he suggested I looked up the Stillen lip for the TT. Then I saw Mad Marco had one on his N/A and was impressed with the build quality and flexibility as it was made from Polyurethane. I then ran into John Dixon at one of the many events organised by the Zclub and saw this - Hmmmmmmm.............. Half way to where I'd like to be. Again the overwhelming argument was that this (the TT type 3) was also made from polyurethane. Did a bit more research and found these pictures of a car in the States- Almost what I was looking for but still had the tram lines and the two bars in the intercooler ducts plus a new problem of the back of the lip having too sharp a corner on it!! Thanks to a photoshop by Jaikia we know had all but one problem solved!! Look very closely!!! - Just one small issue to be sorted by continuing the black bottom lip up in a curve to make it look less sharp and tie in with the front of the sill on the other side of the wheel arch. And now for the finished results!!! (just and excuse to put up loads of piccies!!!) Ooops only 10 images per post!!! To be continued..................
  11. I'm glad someone will be keeping an eye on how much head you lot give each other!! I cam vouch for Gary being an expert after the weekend. Amazing!
  12. Ever tried picking one up? They are bloody heavy. I had to change a fuse the other day. Tool me three days and gave myself a bad back!!
  13. Welcome Matey!! Start planning for show season next year!!
  14. The cheapest solution is to buy a new gearbox which is considerably cheaper than a fuse and easier to fit. Detective Inspector Marple told me this on good authority!! it has to be true - nothing gets past her!!!
  15. Well done done Jason. When you drove off on the Sunday and the sunlight caught your paintwork - Bloody Hell!! You'll have to let me know how to get that finish!!
  16. Thanks for doing it this year Vods. However, I'm really looking forward to the thank you we'll be giving you this time next year!!! Looking forward to the additions we all talked about!! And more of course.....
  17. Oh bugger!!! It's to early and I'm too tired and I've got too much to do!! Just going to wash the car and load her up. I hate mornings!!!!! See you at JAE!

I had more curry for dinner!! See you saturday. Cheers Buddy, Thanks for the intro!! Cheeeers! Thanks mate. It's on now and looks fooooking lovely!!
