  9. Yes he was like that with me too when I first met him very charming and yes I thought he was lovely too Until 4 out of 5 wheel nuts sheared off on the motor way (left spacers on from my 17" wheels and put stock wheels back on) drilling holes in my tie bars to make the wheel fit hiding a very broken cross member with a piece of corrugated card to hide the damage saying it had been jigged when it hadn't I paid him 3000 pounds for the priviledge My car has now been fixed though it has taken most of the five years to get it to a acceptable standard You have no idea what stress he put me through and as you haven't been here for that long (I have, 6 years this year) That's some of the main things...
  10. Now I understand why you were picking a fight with me! :D :D :D Learn the lesson book Andy in advance next time, make the trip up to his; leave your car , = costs a lot bloody less Yes, you might not have your car for a few days but you live and work in St Albans so no problem there Trust me Mike, lot easier in long run on the wallet and I trust Andy a million times more than some random garage
  11. Well I live in the Midlands and I use Andy Duff in Rotheram Nice to see we are supporting people who are banned :headvswal NOT everyone has had good service from Zed world Good to support traders on the forum
  12. I spent about £160 (including postage from US) and duty taxes were 30 pounds Still cheaper than buying it here and Z1 were excellent; really quick

  19. What I do is take mine to Duff and leave it there get everything sorted out and get a train home Then go pick it up when he's finished Simple Though I always book him way in advance of when I need him, I'm pretty organised... I have to be Good luck
  20. I utterly sympathise with you as I had a tyre go as I was approaching a roundabout, you can guess what happened! The lack of control you have is incredible I had my boyfriend in the car and BOTH of us couldn't control the car Don't be too hard on yourself; you did the best you could in the circumstances and most importantly no one was hurt
  21. Great you are getting it sorted and about bloody time too! Well at least you won't freeze to death working outside now All the best to you mate, You deserve it! :hyper:
  22. Well at least we are better at football at the moment :o Being Scottish takes some doing and a lot of patience  Well done Wales though they deserved to win

  24. Pah.... I cleaned mine and Dave's zed on Sunday and it was howling a gale, mad I know but I have a heater now so had to clean my really dirty zed I've used wonder wheels and autosol on my zed it was all nice and shiny The autosol does work but be prepared to sit down and spend quite a lot of time cleaning your exhausts.... I'd wait till it was a bit warmer for that job After I cleaned my zed it rained
