  2. Here are the flowers me and Dave got John (Mr Garrett) for his funeral on Friday I'm really pleased as the florist Charmain was really lovely and put a lot of effort into doing this unusual display On the card I put: To Hannah with deepest sympathies Love from Diane and Dave and all at the 300zx Club
  3. I agree; wish Liverpool would have sorted this! without any doubt:rolleyes: I bet he wished a big hole in the turf would have swallowed him up after that little "error" silly man

  8. I used to smoke; like heavily and a lot Though my lungs just couldn't hack it, so I gave up Some people can smoke all their lives, I'm not one of them Only thing I don't like about smoking is it makes your clothes and hair stink of cigarette smoke ....yuk

  12. I have a south facing back garden and it's bloody lovely in the Spring and Summer, spend oodles of hours in the garden, my front garden is north facing and only gets some sun early morning (I'm never awake to enjoy it) Also in the long summer evenings , sitting in the south facing garden is bliss, especially with a beer in your hand!
  13. I saw this in our local paper the other day and mentioned it to Dave I remember when John first joined I sent him an email really quickly as so glad we had another local member inviting him over to mine with Dave and we all had a natter and a cup of tea and we all loved chatting about zeds , he was utterly mad for them as much as me and Dave. He would drive me mad on facebook with silly requests, send me text messages, over Christmas when he knew I was on my own. We used to go out occasionally in Hatton; which is a nice drive from Warwick/Kenilworth I'm so glad I met him, he was a sweet guy and his wife Han, we should have gone out more as we were the Midlands posse in Warwickshire, we used to laugh how bad all our zeds were and how none of them were ever on the road at the same time. It still hasn't sunk in yet
  14. Take a deep breath mate and calmly go over your options You sound in panic mode You need a bit of detachment from the situation If you need to sell it will happen; but also panic mode thinking , you will always regret it , if things turn around quicker than you think Fear is not a good place, sort yourself out so you calm down and deal with stuff, rather than being reactionary to the moment You always have choices, focus on what you want NOT what you don't want big hug btw xx
  15. hope you had a lovely day honey :) Sorry I missed your day, been up the bloody wall at work Happy belated birthday Saz xxx

  18. I love the 200 though they can be twitchy at the back, an old boyfriend of mine pulled away at a roundabout and spun one all the way round Glad no one was hurt
  19. I bloody hope not Glenn.... anyways their ain't a lot of hair there to begin with:rofl: Mind you some men do strange things ;) Mike, You started playing the damn thing yet? As for mid life crisis: Sometimes the dawning realisation (for whatever reason) that your life is a pile of poo and you need to do something about it; the impetus/push/wake up call can be a relationship breakup/parent dying ....whatever It's the start of a new you... which can mean buying a Didgeridoo , a new motorbike, doing stuff you never dreamed about before You were quite capable of doing anything at anytime, it's just it either feels better now, the relationship/partner didn't approve/allow or you just felt stifled by life in general We all have choices and make decisions based on those choices, I don't really believe in "mid life crisis" as such We are free to do what we want at anytime, we just need to realise it and follow your heart/soul, we forget that we don't need anyone else's approval Unfortunately most of us just stifle our desires and creativity all our lives and let it out when we have a "crisis"
