Hi everyone, I just purchased an abflug rear spoiler and wondered what they are worth and how rare are they??? And yes it maybe replacing the large veilside spoiler soon...... Si........ lol

I drove to work in my Z ......... did a 9.25 hour shift and then drove home with a grin on my face after leaving 2 plonkers in a flashy Audi standing after they sat at lights making comments "look at that thing, trying to look fast"...... They tried to race me off some lights, So I got to the legal 40mph by about 4 car lengths in front of them.......lol...... They looked a bit silly when i let them overtake me further up the road as I waved them past grinning..... I love my Z, didn't want to come home....... just wanted to go for a long drive.........

It would probably be easier taking off the front to fit it...... But maybe able to do it if you get her up in the air and remove bottom cover? Easier access with front off though......

Black ones have night time accidents...... Red fades in the sun and turns pink...... White is for hairdressers...... The best colour is Purple........ :innocent:.......... lol

I am happy what ever as mine WITH the veilside kit and work done has been valued at £10,000 for insurance purposes............ Question is....... will removing the bodykit actually devalue my car for the insurance value??

I will also have to pull out of the anniversary meet as my employer has decided that 10 months notice is not long enough to grant my holiday entitlement that was given when starting my job!!!!! I always thought holiday booked prior to starting a job had to be honoured....... what do I know?? Never the less will be taking the week of 28th July to 4th August off....... as my Z working week...... ready for 3rd August and Beaulieu.......... I am now looking for a new job as well as this was straw that broke the camels back...........

It would be nice to have some intercooler ducts..... let alone ones that have been over sprayed..... lol Can't wait to see yours finished Si...... I take it, it will be ready for Beaulieu ?? I guess I will have to park next to your car with my lovely Z so you can admire the veilside kit all day long..........lol

Hi David have you spoken to the Body shop guy's on here....... get them to quote for repairs........ Mine was miles worse when I bought her as previous owner had taken out huge sign on motorway sideways with NO insurance cover..... The post had gone through passenger door, smashed T-Top and stopped at chassis rail...... was a mess, but straightened up okay......... A good body shop should be able to pull most out, cut off sill and fit a new one...... The front looks like a new bumper and fittings...... You were bloody lucky nothing came through windscreen........ Sorry to hear about this, but again...... you are okay...... and Karma will visit the knob in the focus one day.............

I have a veilside kit that you can use PIG... But it didn't come from me...... If you don't tell him he will never know it was me...... :wink: I heard he wanted it painted bright pink as well......... If someone rings the body shop and pretends to be Si........ lol

Hi Tom......... have you spoken to Ruishy1........ He's a welder........ and I think nearer to you than me....... If you were local to me I could have fabricated you some panels and welded them in......... I'm not a pro...... but did mine last year and they passed MOT scrutiny....... lol How far forward is the rot going??? If you can borrow a borescope and look inside the sills it will give you an idea how bad it is....... but be prepared for it to look like the pictures of the titanic after 25 years at the bottom of the ocean...... When it is done make sure they use weld through paint and treat inside the sills where you can't get to before closing up the sills after repair.... I cleaned up as much as possible......I used a zinc primer and then painted as much as possible with spry hammerite.... When welded closed I used the interior holes to pump Dinitrol rust killer and then a week or so later a waxoyl type treatment to finish with......... This will be a yearly top up for me from now on........ If I can help in any way just ask mate........ Russ I took so long to type this that you drove to bodymech while i wrote it..............lol

Can I just point out that the beloved 'Z' comes from a foreign land, there are lots of 'Z's' in this country that are immigrants or have sought asylum due to their poor treatment in their own countries as well as the ones here from birth..... They come in many shades and colours and no 2 are the same......... Please respect other 'Z's' and their cultural backgrounds as they just want to be safe and loved in our wonderful country....... Please celebrate the 25th year of our 'Z' and respect it's cultural diversity and heritage........ I am with Lynbrook insurance on Classic cover and they only took £360 off me with a £10,000 agreed value and zero no claims to use...... oh an car declared on driveway not garage as well...... 42 years young and everything modified also declared........

I did record one of your runs Bob..... but just found my bloody iPhone has decided to go wrong and lose 6 video's from yesterday and the audio on everything else including my son singing in front of the entire school..... grrrrrrrrrrr Sorry, but did get to see you do a couple of runs and was very impressed.......... when you fitting the afterburner??...... is that why Tom is on the team?.......lol Are you 'Sledging' the other team as their chances of winning are going down hill fast......??
