  1. Hehe is your friend. The Throttle Position Sensor is the little fagpacket sized black box on the front right of the engine, next to the TB, looking from front. It has 2 screws, undoing one will allow the box to move, and adjust the voltage across it. Plenty of info been posted before. Resetting the ECU is simpler - just disconnect the battery for an hour. Do this first actually, then see if the idle sorts itself out, I think you're supposed to do this after cleaning TBs anyway, so the TPS adjust might not be necessary. Pete

  4. The TPS was probably last adjusted given the state of the throttle bodies. Now they are clean, maybe the TPS just needs a tweak to bring idle down? An ECU reset cant hurt either. Pete
