  1. Were you looking for S15 headlights mate? :) Found some on ebay - not cheap though... Pete
  2. You'll need a large ring terminal to crimp/solder onto the stock earth strap as well as the clamp. The stock earth strap is crimped straight onto the stock clamp, aftermarket ones need separate o-ring terminals. Cheers Pete
  3. Its mine too :dance: :duffer:
  4. Damn I thought about that but decided to myself it wouldnt work due to aerodynamics etc. Will do it next time :) Jezz - yeah there were loads and it was very evenly matched from what I saw, Richie had his usual launching problems hehe low 13's but with a 120odd mph terminal speed :eek:
  5. :rofl::rofl::rofl: You're dreaming out loud again ;)
  6. Gorgeous day :cool: and not too busy. Had 4 runs, won them all of course ;) Beat a Rover something, a Clio Sport, a 200SX S14 and a Pulsar GTiR :cool: Runs :- 1) React - 0.551s, 60ft - 2.334s, 1/4 mile 13.706s @ 104.20mph 2) React - 0.621s, 60ft - 2.372s, 1/4 mile 13.731s @ 104.69mph then I took my front number plate off in the afternoon and got :- 3) React - 0.523s, 60ft - 2.286s, 1/4 mile 13.572s @ 105.54mph 4) React - 0.438s, 60ft - 2.292s, 1/4 mile 13.552s @ 106.13mph Pretty chuffed with those, especially considering the heat and the Santa Pod mirror surface. Especially pleased about my reaction times, anything below 0.400s is a foul so run 4 is great :dance: Great day, got a tan too :cool:;) Cheers Pete
  7. Dunno, they could be :confused: Although I had the caliper seal kit fitted in Sept. Will do anyway mate cheers :)

    I've got Longlife Decat pipes :dance::dance: Looking good :cool::bow:
  9. Just fitted the drivers side recirc valve this afternoon, couldn't be arsed to do the other one as the rear bolt was harder to get to. Took the car out for a blast afterwards so make sure everything was ok. When I got back I washed the car, and fook me - chucked some water at the front wheels and it literally boiled off! :eek: Didnt think the brakes would get that hot! It was the hubs actually where the water was boiling! Goosehonk hasnt gone though :rolleyes: So I will have to fit the pass side recirc valve. Pete
  10. The ECU reset is easy and best to do first. Remove the negative battery terminal and leave it off for at least an hour, see what the car is like after that. Adjusting the TPS is trickier, you need a multimeter to check the voltage across two of the pins, or someone nice with a ConZult diagnostic tool could check and adjust it for you if you put a shout out for free beers ;) Start with the ECU reset though :) And check (if its an import) that the Power/Hold rocker switch by the gear shifter is in the middle position. Cheers Pete
  11. LOL Cheers boys, all good, but I was kind of thinking of stuff I can remove on a Saturday afternoon then replace on the Sunday evening ;) I've removed the rear seats, spare wheel and boot crap, the passenger seat will have to stay in cos I'm taking a passenger :rolleyes: Traction Control - people already rib auto owners saying theres no skill in drag racing. The launch is the only skill part lol ;) I've got stock Nissan suspension, i had thought of drag radials once but never got round to finding anything out about them. I will take a big crap ;) Cheers Pete
  12. Removing weight nearer the front would obviously be best but I'm damned if I can be arsed removing the passenger seat lol :D
  13. Do you think benefit would be had by removing the spare wheel, having a dribble of petrol not a full tank, and removing the rear seats, in terms of launching the car up a 1/4 mile strip? The back of the rear seat weighs a lot, as does the spare wheel, and I guess petrol weighs near 1kg per litre. I reckon these would total over 60kg. Now would the reduced weight over the rears benefit the car or would it reduce grip enough to make it not worth it over a 1/4 mile? :confused: I guess something like letting a little pressure out of the rears might help improve grip ;) Cheers Pete
  14. Sounds great :bow: - got any pictures? :dance:
