Hehe I thought that so I had a sit in the passenger seat to try, it was fine as its not nobbly or anything and doesnt intrude too much. Besides, if your passenger is v large ;) it takes approx zero minutes to take it off :)

They've got 6 months to summons you, and I doubt they'll forget. They will tell you that you "have to" tell them who was driving but thats bull - stick to your story, get a solicitor. I mean - if you get accused of murder and are obviously innocent then the onus is not on you to solve the crime is it? Speeding is a crime, murder is a crime, the principals are the same. 2) Probably a bad speed sensor or wiring to/from it. Its located on the underside of the gearbox. The power steering "heaviness" is determined by the signal from the speed sensor. The two pots you describe are correct, the one nearest the front of the car is the powersteering/HICAS fluid. Pete
