THANKS! i dont know about opening it up with a dremmel sounds to complicated to me:confused: i used the wiring harness that came with the original new ptu to try the replacement ptu:confused: and works ok so me smallish brain thinks its the original ptu that failed so am going to sticking with that for the time being (deep breath):tongue: dan.:)

just plugged in a good working series 2 ptu and works fine:dance: so the NEW series 2 i put in originally has failed after only a weeks use!:confused: so they do FAIL.:( dan.

thats the only way i know of checking it, but there is probably a way but I am still learning and I only see my teacher once and a while,:D paul!:bow:xx dan.

easy enough to adjust but a lot easier if you have conzult so you get a reading as you adjust thats what i did. worth a visit to swz if no one near you has conzult or datascan. dan.:)

it was a brand new series 2 ptu that i had awhile before plucking up the courage to relocate, and it was fine for about a week it worked one morning went back in afternnoon and nothing just turning over a petrol smell plugged in conzult and code 21 qiuck message to paul at swz couple things to check put old ptu back in and fired straight away and working fine since!:confused: so going try check the series2 ptu see if its the wiring harness or the ptu. dan.

I put a NEW series 2 in and relocated it under fuse box and all was fine for about a week then it packed up!:confused: got the old one back on for the time and works fine!:confused: so now need to test the series 2 find out whats wrong with it any ideas?:headvswal dan.

Yeah I been under having a ferit around!:D 5 bolts instead 4 as well because of me mega turbos:dance:and replaced the oil return pipes with the Garrett 300zx GT600R Turbo Kit from conceptzperformance NO MORE OIL LEAK:hyper:see you soon.xx dan.:D

when you look at the old key and the new one's there is a difference extra groove!:D

is their a difference between the keys for imports? bought some spare keys for me 1990 import but the key cutter said they were different to me original titanium key!:confused: any advise please where i can get some not the cheap old things you get from anywhere though.;) dan.:D
