Well i never!!!!!!
After sobering up this morning, me and my girlfriend took the zed out for a drive around the country, after about 45 mins of good driving down lanes we came across a small pet store / equestrian supplies place outside of Billingshurst, West Sussex. This place is in the middle of nowhere. Only about 4 cars in the carpark and all 4x4's. Had a look around the shop for about 10mins. Come out to find an immaculate white UK TT parked next to my Black UK TT. Whilst having a look around it, the owner approaches me with his partner. We get chatting about zeds. Basically i think his zed was garaged for 9 years, decided to see what it was like, only needed to jump start it, and it flew through the MOT. His name is Nick and he is from West Sussex, ive given details of the club and he will hopefully register later. This is one of the cleanest standard UK zeds i have ever seen. Apart from a slight bit of wear on the rear rubber spolier, and the odd bit on the wheels, it is like it has just come off the production line. Stu

judder help
Does this sound go when going over say 60 mph? then it is possible it is the propshaft bearing. when it happens, does the steering wheel judder? then look at wheel balancing, if it is continuos might be worth checking engine mounts/ prop.

Targas, bags and straps
each strap has a securing bracket ie 3. Put all brackets through the carpet and onto the pins in the boot, basically make a letter A shape but without the horizontal bit. The adjuster will either be on the right or left and side of the A shape. Remember to loop the strap back on itself so it can be loosend or tightend. Hard to explain, will do a pic tomorrow. IMHO waste of time anyway, as you slam it round a corner a bit quick the targas will slide out, unless the strap has be done up by guy the gorilla

Tyre advice
What is the best tyre size for these, as ive just got a set, centres have been refurbed, and the rims are at the polishers. 18" Gewalt split rims, they have 225/35/18 on the front but nothing on the rears Does 255 or 265/35/18 sound okay for the rears. Dont want to have to need to have the rear arches rolled.

Momentary loss of power
Had the same thing and have now discovered that my zed doesnt like being driven in heavy downpours, as im running a Blitz induction kit, traced it to a slightly damp maf, caused by me not having the plastic shroud that protects the area. A quick clean with contact cleaner and the job was sorted, made a hell of a difference.
