  1. Alan, i know the crap you have to deal with, this is just to say you are not the only one. Get called to evict a tennant and her scrote kids, after they have done a runner and not paid any rent for ages. Luckily house was empty, but after clearing the house and loft, we are presented with this. The house which was only a 2 bed, took 4 skips to clear, this lot was another 3. All the neighbours have been dumping their sh*te in the garden. LAZY FOOKERS!!!! take it the local dump
  2. If most cars hit that cow, it would be game over, poor cow, least it eneded its life on a nissan........:slap:
  3. Have a look at JimmyTT's ride he has something different, look good, but he ould be the man to ask. Stu
  4. Its sounds like your sub fan is running, twoi causes for this connector messing about, check and clean or replace. Or an air lock? If the air lock, does the system get hot, you state the temp gauge is half way, but when hot, put heater onto max and full fan, with car running it should stay at warm/hot all the time, if for any reason it goes cooler then back to hot, you have air in the system. Check all hoses are getting hot. Might need bleeding, also check your expansion bottle, when engine is cold, that rad is full, but bottle is no more than min.
  5. If its been sat for 4 years, most stuff will be seized unless its been under cover. As it is no more than £300. sell the cats if you have em, worth £40 each.

  9. This is not mine, but a good mate. This was the first zed i ever went in, and its his fault i got the bug for them. I personally know this car, it is a bargain, some nice aftermarket bits, has original Impul badges, 99 spec front end, and uprated brakes. The pictures dont do it justice. Well worth a look if your after a decent one. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1045156.htm
  10. I have done the chrome look on my lights, but it has nothing on what you have got, the best bit is ive got loads of spares, would you be able to do a box job, if i prep the parts, ie lights, throttle cover, cam cover, fan shroud. Drop me a pm with your number please. Stu
  11. Drivers foot well, top row.
  12. Are you coming to Surrey Rolling road this weekend, if so i will a complete set of all pipes, you can use to get a spec off. Hows the rebuild coming, hasnt Jimmer got it.
  13. Had today booked of for ages, so my and my girlfriend went to Thorpe park, As im a complete white knuckle loon, have been watching this since last year being built. All i can say, its fooking awesome, you have no idea how vertical it goes. right result going on a work day, when no schools are on holiday. Out of all the rides, which on a weekend during school holidays you can queue for nearly 2-3 hours, today no longer than 15 min wait. If you like coasters this is a must.
  14. Jap spec = fold in, UK dont. Im in the process of putting my spare jap ones on my UK, so that they do fold,
  15. Thats a very very tidy zed, LMFAO Si, you have such a way with words........
  16. Not me mate, but i do remember the lovely Hanger lane gyrotary, working at PArk royal going round it every twice every day for 8 years., When it was moving it was bad, when it was slow it was really bad, when it was totally jammed up, nothing better than watching cars all overheat,,,,,,The joys........ Now i only have to deal with small traffic jams, nowhere near as bad....
  17. After a mornings rain, it is now sunny, cleaned the zed up, then Atlast (sean) pops over for a cuppa, I thought mine was clean, but he has since done the white zed in Meguires clay block, the differnce it has made is outstanding. Will be getting some this week. A few pics. The difference in the quality of paint is the proof. Nice to see you mate, will be a Sussex convoy upto Surrey. Stu
  18. Andy, check the connections around the fuel dampner and regulator are tight, as on start up the fuel pressure increases, only noticible when cold, as when hot, it may still be leaking but evaporates. Also check around fuel filter. Have had the same, Items 28 & 29 in this pic. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=2116
  19. There are a few probs relating to weather that have affected my zed, I have a Blitz SUS filer, and standard nose panel When i had no engine undertray, it used to suck more moisture and cause running issues, this became very apparent if i went over a puddle. If you have an aftermarket filter, do you still have the original plastic guard, that wraps around it, ie under the nose panel Both of these items were not on my zed, but are now and have never had more probs. Check the connection to the maf is good and dry, if you can take the maf off, give the sensor a clean with some electric contact cleaner like Ambersol, it will clean the tiny metal wire, i was very careful and used a cotton bud to gently touch the wire. DO NOT over do it, as if you break the wire it makes it usesless.
