  9. Driving back home today, and a well tuned pulsar joins the game. The lads look at me, and smile, here we go, i think. Dont mind if i do, well it is a Nissan. Then WHAM....... He is off, popping and flames from the exhausts, i can keep up, but only just. after a few miles of very aggressive driving, we manage to slow down to an acceptible level, have a little chat, turns out he is running 400bhp +. Ive been up againest a standard one before and had no problems, but this thing was brutal, very very quick indeed. Hats off to you bud, atleast if wasnt a poxy scooby..............
  10. I drove up to assist Mark today on his zed, managed to sort a few things, and get her working better, but still couldnt locate the boost issue. While we had two zeds together, rude not get another, so a quick call to Baz (sonic) and 10 mins later we were now 3. Nice to meet you mark, and cheers for the tea. Hope i helped your knowledge a bit. If you need any bits, just let me know Baz, glad you a good holiday mate, and im glad we have now established that my zed is younger than yours :wheelchair::wheelchair: Had a play with a well tuned pulsar on way home and have now spent most of my fuel. Stu
  11. I cant see why they had to removed boards either, i think they would look great at 1/2 mile intervals on the M25. Trouble is the insurance companies would be a bit busy sorting out all the smash ups. :tt1::tt1:
  12. will call you tonight mate. if all goes well with my zed should be over early afternoon satuday. stu
  13. welcome mate, my best bit of advice is to see a few, dont buy the first you see unless its a cracker. There are some total dogs out there for sale, but also alot of good ones. If your unsure at what your looking at, post a thread up, to see if someone who knows these cars car look over it with you. Also have at look at the for sale section here, if a member is selling on here, i would look at it. Running costs vary to how well looked after and driven, if your ok with mechanics, they look daunting, but not that bad. look after them and they will look after you If you feel out of your depth, just ask, we are here to help. Stu

  25. Had the same thing Graham, if i remember it is a 6mm allen bolt, which had rounded inside, i tried a 7 but slipped slightly, then used an 8mm and had to hammer it in, it was super tight, but wouldnt budge, left over night soaked in penetration oil, one quick hit with the angled bit of the allen key using an old pipe and it worked. fooked the nut though. but thread was good.
