Fuse location
It's come to my attention that when it rains, the heater pod and clock light up while the cars parked. It would look like this is the cause of my flat battery every time it rains, does any one know which fuse box the fuse for these is in? Got a feeling water may be getting in.

Street Crime Live
Police officers a actually exempt from wearing a belt, as are other emergency service personnel in certain circumstances. Interestingly, Hackney carriage (Black cabs) drivers do not have to wear a seat belt either, as long as they're on duty.

beowolf
Yeah you have to wear glasses, but they just look like those McDonalds sunglasses they gave away years ago. Without the pink/yellow/blue arms. And TBH everyone else is wearing them so you don't feel too much of a tit. I can't really compare it to anything else because it was THAT good, I'd say closest thing to it is the IMAX. IMAX has more flashy 3D effects because of the bigger screen, but I'd say Beowolf made better use of the tech through the whole film. I'm just dissapointed that I won't be able to watch it like that at home ;)

Look at what this idiot did to his engine...
That has to be a joke surely?

beowolf
Did you see it in 3d???? Went the other night and have to say I was blown away, didn't have too high hopes for the tech but OMG was amazing!!! Definately worth the extra for 3D IMHO. Quite adult content for a 12A I thought (thinking of Angelina naked here) but maybe I'm getting old!

Replacing fog light glass
In hind sight yes :D But I managed to get the glass alot cheaper than the whole unit, I was thinking I'd be able to swap it over without removing it. Thanks for the info chaps!

Replacing fog light glass
As per usual for a job on a z, I have greatly underestimated what's involved here I think! I need to swap the glass on the front fog/sidelight, but how the hell do I get the old one off? Do I need to take the whole unit out, and if so how? Cheers

Hamilton moving to Switzerland.
What I meant was on a Global scale, he's not the most well known celeb FROM the UK. At the moment anyway. I bet Beckham gets far more attention than him when he goes out. Although I've no doubt he WILL become one of the most famous names from Britain in the near future. Still deffo all about the money though :D

Hamilton moving to Switzerland.
He's hardly the most famous person in the UK so the reason is obviously b*llsh*t, but i don't blame him one bit. His job is based all over the world so it doesn't really matter where he lives, if the so called "celebrities" in this country (Amy Winehouse, Kate Moss etc) could move abroad and still be famous they would. But they can't. So we're stuck with them.

Jeremy Clarskon tests a 1000hp Nissan Skyline R33 GTR
300zx was in his top 100 cars video, and the R34 was in the top 10 (can't remeber the number may even have been top 5) so I wouldn't say he hates them. He definatley prefers Italian cars though, just look at the cars he's owned.

Stalling/Not starting/Throttle not working!
Sorry for dragging this old and boring thread but just thought it needed some "closure" :) Took the car down to Nexus performance in South End on Monday for a service. As part of the basic service, Scott did a complete check of the whole car and made a list of things that needed attention/could be better, and made some recomendations on where to go from there. Even took some pictures of some of the parts under the car. Car still stalls sometimes so will be fitting a new set of spark plugs soon, and he also spotted an issue with some poorly fitted braided brake lines that could be nasty, and should have really been spotted at the MOT. Above all I'd just like to say how impressed I was with the service from Scott. He's a geniunely nice guy and enthusiast, owns a stunning Zed (and a pretty nice Gloria as well!) and was happy to chat for a good 45 mins about the car and random car stuff. I know some other people here are having work done there and would highly recomend him to any one in the South East looking for a good garage.

Dark blue with what looked like chromed standard TT wheels. I was in the silver Z next to you as you turned off, flashed as I went passed (horn isn't working at the mo).

Motor Supplier - Avoid like the plague!!
I bought a gearbox from them. Advert was bu**sh*t stated it would be steam cleaned, which it wasn't turned up wrapped in plastic nothing else and on top of everything they delivered it to the wrong address. I managed to get the £50 postage back but he tried the same thing, blackmailing me into leaving +ve feedback before he'd refund the money. Told him where to stick it and lo and behold I got the money back. Took so long I didn't have a chance to leave any feedback unfortunatly. Deffo one to avoid.

top gear tonight
That was excellent! They've done features on that road in various mags (Top Gear and CAR) but seeing it "for real" as such was stunning. Thought the way they shot the piece was beautiful.

Stalling/Not starting/Throttle not working!
As promised: an update! Firstly would like to say thanks to Mark for doing a Conzult test for me, would have been lost without your help mate! Well, the Conzult check threw up a fault with the MAF, so a month later and I have just fitted the new MAF and after two test drives of an hour each (three hours apart just to check!) the car would seem to be running alot better. No hesitating, stalling as slowing down etc. Throttle response feels alot smoother as well now. So, fingers crossed :) Going to book the car in with Nexus (after hearing good things about them and Redline) for a service so if anything else crops up I'll add it on here. Hope this helps someone at some point!
