Has anyone else got one of these? If so I have heard you can adjust some of the settings. Can you turn the auto-arming off as this is driving me crazy!!!!!! Every time I have to leave it for a short while I have to leave a dorr open! Now that cannot be good for security. I may be getting a new alarm soon. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good one with remote start? Cheerz Ivan :D

Where is the ecu? I think I have found the IAAC but has made no difference. Ivan

Yeah not to clear on where the AAC is in the engine compartment. I tyhink I have found it and turned the screw but this has made no difference. Do I need to disconect the ECU? Ivan :confused:

Cleaned throttle bodies and TPS terminals, but still about 1000rpm tick over. Do I need to reset the ECU? If so if I do will it work when reset?! Also has neone got a pic of the AAC valve as the manual I have is pants. Ivan

No, not hunting but tickover is sometimes 950 and sometimes 1600. It's totally random. Ivan

Also there is a hestitation at around 4000rpm. Is this caused by the throttle bodies needing a good clean?:confused: Ivan

I did this on mine recently. Remove road wheel and rear of arch liner. This will expose a black plastic air filter type of box. Mine had a hole already drilled in the bottom with a self tapping screw in it. I just undid the screw and a mass of water went all over my dad's garage floor:eek: :eek: :eek: . Stopped gurgling instantly:D Ivan

Yeah, tried pulling up on the pedals and it worked! But when I press the button on the steering wheel to accelerate it slows down! Is this another problem or all part of the original glitch? Where do I go from here? Thanks Andy you're a star. Ivan :D

Steering wheel was not removed when the wheels were balanced and the car is a manual UK spec. Cheers Ivan

Yeah, looked under the engine one earlier and no cruise. Where abouts in the footwell is it as I was under there this afternoon and couldn't find the box? Ivan:confused:

They didn't track the wheels, just removed them and balanced them and put them back. Sincs then I have had the car on a consult tester and there was no faults with the criuse but when you turn on the switch it doesn't come on. If the switch on the steerring wheel doesn't activate the cruise the consult will not detect a fault as it doesn't know that the switch has been pushed. Could either be the switch or the steering wheel I think. Ivan:confused:

I had all the wheels balanced yesterday and went out in it last night to check to see if the vibration had gone and the bloody cruise control didn't work!!!! The light came on when I presed the dash button but not when I pressed the set button on the steering wheel. Please help!!!!! Ivan :mad:
