Well I tried to get insured with Houghtons last time and for a 24 year old risk area A ( :rofl: ) 9,000 miles a year standard uk spec apart from exhaust and filter they charged 740! Which was dearer than Adrian Flux who I was already with. I have a clean lisence and 7 years ncb. Ivan

Warning! Do not jack your car up in the middle of the front cross member. One of the previous owners did this to mine and bent the cross member which then rusted so I had to have a new one stitched in for the MOT last year which required the rad. oil cooler and aircon rad to be removed. Ivan

Yep just engine rebuild, poss g/box rebuild, new rear spoiler, pair of sills, aircon pipes, wheel bearing, caliper rebuilds, new tailgate, dents removing from the door, wierd radio happenings, leaky targa tops (girlfriend not happy about that one 'cos it's on the passenger side worse LOL), and loadsa squeaks to sort out now! Micra one is deffo different mate. 1520870J00 and from memory the 300 one is sommat like 1520830P00 or 31U00 but i'm sure i will get slapped if that's wrong. Ivan :cool:

Jester i had sommat similar on mine. As I was turning the wheel through the arc it would jerk and go heavy then light. It turned out to be the lower steering U.J. Fitted and then fine! HTH Ivan

My switch isn't loose but the surround is. Will this cure the problem? Ivan

Not mine mate. Was it a g reg? If so this is a guy that lives in the vale of no belvoir. He was refered to me at work by my old empolyers 'cos they knew I had a Zed. He was going to come to a meet but never showed. Also told him about this place and never subcribed. You try to help some people and then.......
