  1. Yes mate. All HID type lights do it (at least all the Dosco 3's and Range Rovers we have in do). Not been on the road yet in the beast but will be going out in her in the dark on wednesday so will see how bright they are then. HTH Ivan
  2. Yeah would love to see pics mate. Sounds totally ****ed up, How did he so through a wall and a roof and land on a pick-up truck? Ivan
  3. Let's just hope that whoever buy's it comes on here and gets to a few meets with the beasty. Ivan
  4. That is a bummer indeed. It's like someone building you an extension on your house and when you hammer a nail into it to hang a picture the wall falls down and then have to pay the builder to put it up again only to have it fall down again etc....... Ivan
  5. Did Tommi Kaira ever do an NA? I was under the impression all their cars were TT? Ivan
  6. Try getting the wheels balanced Wolfgang. Also to the other boys it could be the top suspension arms vibrating. I had this on my car and this cured 90% of it. Ivan
  7. Yep water temp sensor (yellow connector on the front of the engine. Also check the PTU connectors (more than likely a silver box with fins on to the left of the water temp sensor as you look into the engine). If that doesn't solve it it may be up the duff. Tey to borrow one from a member or better still upgrade to a Series II one. HTH Ivan
  8. Hmmm cheers mate. My kit sounds a bit different to yours. I dont know where it came from as I got it for xmas. It says Bohmen on the box. I used trial and error to establish that the white wire was for the live and the black was earth and I used the radiator brackets for the earth. They seem to work so thanks for all your help matey. Ivan
  9. No mate not really. On the silver box I have the outlet to the black box and 2 other wires coming off that must go onto the car. Which of these wires go where? Thats what i'm getting at. So you plugged one of the cables that came with the kit to the cars loom - which one and what did you do with the other one? Ivan
  10. Hi guy's. Has anyone fitted a HID kit onto a UK car? If so where did you take the earth from and which colour wire did you use? White or black? Ivan
  11. Does it with ignition on or off mate. Which wire did you use for the live? I'm having trouble figuring my kit out. Ivan
  12. Hello mate it's a 1990 series I. Have you got this kit fitted to your car? Ivan
  13. Looking sweet mate. Bet them wheels are a bitch to clean. Ivan
  14. Last I heard was this morning about 7am - death toll was 83,000 then. I'll wager the loss of life will be over 100,000 by the end - what a waste. It just shows of the power of water - nothing can stand in it's way it just washes everything away. Did anyone see that documentary on Tuesday night about Boscastle? Scary stuff. Ivan
  15. Did you participate then Mr Dog? Ivan
  16. Hello mate. How much you looking to spend? Try to get a TD5 engine if you can - quite reliable in the Defender. Only 1 repolaced in the 6 years I have worked for Land Rover. Look out for water leaks at the top of the screen as they can be tricky to tie down. Also check for oil leaks at the front of the bell housing and diff flanges and thats about it I reckon. Ivan
  17. Bloody hell! Did my family and your missus do their shopping together??? Got HID's, chrome speedo rings, z tax disc holder and clarkson DVD! Spooky eh? also though I got a fibreglass replacement spoiler to replace my fooked one :nana2: :nana2: Ivan
  18. Hmmm seems strange Richard. On my UK car when the sidelights are on only the ones in the bumper come on????? Ivan
  19. LOL shhhhhhhh dont want all the women to know - it's a secret I told you that last time lol
  20. Here's a couple of mine mate - just too bright on one of them me thinks lol
  21. Cant you just get a ruler and hold it horizontally and move it down the circle until you are measuring the longest distance and draw a line and do the same in the vertical and where the 2 lines meet is the centre. Is this right? Ivan
  22. LOL looking good mate. I spoke to you the other night in a cold tesco's car park and it did look an awesome car even then. We'll have to arrange a Melton meet soon - thats 3 on here. Plus there is another 3 that I know of within a 7 mile radius! But they're not members on here.  Ivan
  23. Is it an invisible cock? Ivan
