  6. I heard a rumour that there was some weights in the tailgate to counter balance the wiper motor or something? Has anyone removed these? If so where are they mounted (obviously behind the plastic trims). Does anyone also have any pics of these? Ivan
  7. Sensor works both steering and speedo mate. Could be affecting one and not the other??? It controls the speed-sensitivity on these cars. Is it heavy and then light and heavy again as you turn the wheel? Ivan
  8. Thats deffo an impressive peice of kit. I'm always in awe of planes whenever we go to an airport - they're so massive! Makes you wonder how they ever get off the ground. It must be the willpower of all the passengers thinking to themselves "come on! get up there!"  Ivan
  9. Yeah someone else told me that. Is it the whole island mate?

  18. TBH mate talking from working with them for 2 years if you want a car like a zed (i.e. always needing mending) go for the TVR. If you want it to last then get the (slower) Porsche. You lose on sound and performance compared to the TVR but they need lots of repairs IMHO. Ivan
  19. Right boy's I worked for TVR parts for about 2 years and here's the story. The rover V8 was used by the company in the wedges, V8S, Griffith and Chimaera. The 5.0 was a standard block with a unique-to-TVR crank and oversize pistons and valves. The 4.0 and 4.5 engines were oversize pistons I think but not valves and a standard crank. Oh yeah and the 5.0 was like shit3 off a shovel! Ivan
  20. Whats wrong with it? Ivan
  21. No probs mate. Send us it anyway and I'll do sommat with it. Ivan
