Mate of mine is picking up a KITT replica tomorrow from Durham....he says it'll be faster than my Zed but standard quarter is quoted at 16.5 secs or sommat stupid lol Ivan

Hi guy's. My Zed has been suffering recently with not so much as a missfire but it's like the engine is constantly being throttled off and back on when i'm on a constant throttle. I've replaced the injector, coil pack and water temp sensor connectors, tried a working maf, set the tps and still it does it. A few days ago we cleaned up the AAC? connector. it's the yellow one at the rear of the passenger side plenum. After this it was ok for the 10 or so mile blast we did in her but the day after it was back to the same? It's a UK car so it couldn't be too much of a bad batch of BP Ultimate fuel to cause this. Cant hear any det. Just pops and bangs. If I hold the clutch down and rev the engine from idle a few times it is ok for a mile or so. Please help me on this guy's - i'm at a loss Ivan

Yeah mate i know - I tried a working one on it last night I'd borrowed off someone (cheers chunk) and this didn't cure it. It pops and bangs and spits and jerks all over the place. Dont know if this is what the problem is or not? Anyone else? Ivan

Hi guys. How do we test wether an AFM is fooked? Which wire do I look at? What should the voltage be? I think thats what the problem is. It got wet over a week ago and it;s been hesitating badly ever since. Air filter looks ok i.e. dry, splash guard is in place everything. Please help Ivan

Hi guy's. Just arranging a mini mids meet at Ashby Folville. There is a classic car meet the second Tuesday of every month in the warmer months. I attended one last year in August and they had everything there from Astons to Volvo's. There was over 100 cars there and everyone was really friendly and open. There was stuff like a Dodge Viper, American V8 1930's Fords, VW's, classic Landrovers and cars from the 1920's and before. There was even a Traction engine. And for all you bike fans there was over 100 bikes when I attended included trikes. Entry is a nominal £1 which is for the marshalls and parking. Basically just park up on the cricket green and open the bonnets and show away. Come along all you guy's and we'll have a top meet. Ivan
