Right guy's an gals it's that festive time of year again. I'm planning a go-kart and meal type of event. It will be held at Fosse karting on the A46 near Wymeswold. My uncle works there and he is trying to get a slot for us on the 11th of December. It a great outside venue and has the longest track in the east midlands. As for the meal I'm trying to find out if the hotel next door does meals. Lets see a show of hands please Ivan

For the next meet we'll be teaming up with a few of the other Jap car clubs. There is a meeting at the Stenson Bubble pub at Stenson near Derby. I have attended this meet a few times and there is always a good turn out of all the various japaneese machinery all the way from pielines to humble Micra's. The actual pub has a great carvery and good food on a Sunday and there is the river and various boats and cruises to go on for the family. Hi guy's. The next meet for our region is going to be held at the pod on "flame and thunder" night. The date will be the 5th of november. This event is on the saturday and will include demo runs of various high performance machinery, run what ya brung, night racing and a fireworks display so wrap up warm!!! I drove up the M1 for 60 miles from Silverstone on Sunday and saw 3 zeds and 3 F40's. But 2 of the zeds were coming from Trax in a mini convoy. Ivan

Right boys and girls there is to be a drift day at Silverstone on the 2nd of October. It weill be attended by the UK boys and 4 of the D1 Japan boys including the world champion in his RX7. Right guy's it's looking like that time again. Tuesday the 13th this time. It'll be the last big one before winter so if any of you mids boys have never attended this one I urge you to come around and see the extraordinary range of cars and bikes. Everyone I've ever talked to who has ever come to this event has thoroughly enjoyed it. We need to try to make it a bit earlier this time i think. So meet at mine 5:30 to leave at 6? Right peeps it's looking like there will be quite a few zed's going to the NA day at the pod on the 25th of september. We'll make this a meet and if anyone wants to come down and see the chunk try to get that elusive 12 sec quarter and just generally have a laugh you're more than welcome. You dont have to go on the track if you're not into that kinda thing but it'll be a good 'un. Ivan

Right due to the amount of people on holiday over the bank holiday weekend and Trax I have decided to sort the next meet for the 11th of september. It will be held at Ironbridge near Telford. Yeah this was an absolutley brilliant day!!! I managed to get mine upto a verified 158!! :cool: It was really good to see what the old zed can do on a track. Now I know it wont break after a long day of thrashing, unlike some (you know who you are ;) ). Brilliant day and one of the best meets I've ever been to (apart from my fooking speedo reading 0 whilst i was doing 100+). Ivan P.S. wheres all the pics??? And the gps readouts??!!
