  2. Oddly enough! yes! im Based in Dorset, and my mother does saddlery repairs - email a spec and some piccies - and I can spec it out for you. I work in yeovil - if thats any help :) However - expect a few days for a reply as shes just come out of hospital - she was ommited in last night :( email - zeegy@zeegy.net
  3. could be the trye - i thought that was a little odd too (sorry Schumi).. but then, well - if Mr duff says that i can be due to misaligned steering - then i guess that was your cause. My issue was due to the speedo cluster when i had this - Try duffs advice :)
  4. agree with funki - you can get silcone, with glue in it also - brillaint stuff!!
  5. i have a spare jap headunit and cdplayer - email me on zeegy@zeegy.net - dont want anythingt for it - just cover postage
  6. again - that isnt the problem as i have a new battery in there - so I know its not an issue. I have removed the door and boot bulbs, and my stereo.... will leave it till friday and try again - it it works, then i know to install a switch for my rear car audio, and clean up the contacts on my door and boot - if not, ill recharge the battery - remove something else and try again
  7. jack, as stated earlier - if i use it daily, its ok - the altenator is fine - and i havea new battery. so something is draining it.
  8. exactley - ive disconnected the boot and door bulbs and my stereo - will see what happens. if its one of those probs i will repair, otherwise tricklecharge it is!
  9. 2 tyre min order with free delivery - that will be http://www.mytyres.co.uk legnose
  10. thanks mcc will take it on board... right, i have removed the boot light and door light (to kill the circuit) and removed the fuses for my stupid audio setup ;) fingers crossed for friday!
  11. seconded! any pics? seems a brill idea!
  12. isnt it dude - must meet up soon - has been months!
  13. nothing has been added - but suspecting a powercap drain - as those things never go off... so could draw continuous power. also, the warning light for the door glows when all doors are shut - so could be an earth - god, this is going to be fun :(
  14. thats the thing - put a fresh battery in - 5 days later, no life left in the battery. nothing has been changed - and is getting worse over time - hence the thought of an earth?
  15. Evening peeps, Am finally getting my camber woes under control, and now my beloved Zed is eating my battery. I originally thought it was a knackered battery, as it was fine left on her own for up to 10 days - 2weeks to which she would be pretty flat. bought a new battery, and seemed fine - but the same problem is now reoccuring. thing is, the battery life is getting worse - its now dropped from 10 days to around 5 - darn thing couldnt even start today. Im guessing a bad earth - but any ideas what could eat the battery like this?
  16. before you pick up on it, ive done a classic typo... I have tried: - Goodyear Eagle F1 - Dunlop Sports (9000) - Kumhos ECSTA Sports The kumho gets my vote
  17. im sorry, that is rubbish - and i can vouch for that 1st hand. I can guarantee the kumho has just as much grip and durability than a dunlop F1 - very impressed by them and would buy them again
  18. yeah probably me - with the Gold Rays/Volks Alloys - the only car i know with stock zorsts and mudflaps! :)
  19. missed a bit of a type there.. sorry 225/45 Returned 167 Results 225/40 Returned no results! The dimensions are doable - but will cost a packet.
  20. znut, the tyres are deffo not going to be the norm, doing a search for 225/45 R17 on mytyres.co.uk brought up 167 sets of tyres, a search for 225/40 R17. It is doable, but you will be looking at v rare or custom rubber hope your wallet goes deep!
  21. not a problem, im not just a designer, i do php, asp and asp.net working alongside mySQL and MSSQL if you ever want to discuss you know where i am, and i believe you have my number! you could always pay me in zed bits :p
  22. its not a plug - but if you need a hand, give me a shout - I am a webdesigner and have a few hundred clients now - visit http://www.zeegy.net for info. any issues, ask away - you've saved my bacon times already! :) - one good hand deserves another! :)
  23. last question fella - when is your online shop due to go live? i cant wait to see what goodies are for sale! :)
  24. no worries dude - just wanted to make sure you were not upset about this post. Am very happy with the item, and came in the post v promplty - why should i be peeved with dta's service? - its brilliant! :) Thanks for the advise - I guess, get the tracking done, and then re-inspect. any change in camber is a huge improvement to what it was anyway!!! - I had a very scientific shim-fit on level ground with a spirit level! - not much more you can do on a BH monday! :) good luck with the case - if you require any positive feedback for your site, or for any case I will be happy to provide. im sure as well as many other happy customers.
  25. Dan, dont worry fella - i know its not due to your shim kit, i knew that pushing out the arms will affect the tracking - more concerned about the wobble frankly! - any ideas what this , or will tracking likely remedy that too?
