Scubie, thanks for the extra info. Don't suppose you have a contact number for Chris do you(?) as he probably has my car keys now :D

Anyone know Ryan at ZTech?

Anyone know Ryan at ZTech?
Yeah, that's what I thought, but when I went on Friday there was no-one home.

Anyone know Ryan at ZTech?
Thanks. I think I'm starting to get zed withdrawal symptoms!

Anyone know Ryan at ZTech?
Thanks Paul. It's a black TT LWB with stock wheels. I was kind of hoping it was finished rather than started ;)

Anyone know Ryan at ZTech?
Blimey. No wonder he's not answering his phone then. Still a quick phonecall to mention that fact wouldn't have gone amiss... I don't suppose anyone knows Craig's number do they?

Anyone know Ryan at ZTech?
My car's been in with ZTech now for six weeks. I haven't heard a bean from Ryan for ages. Ryan's normally ok at getting back to people and I know ZTech were on holiday last week, but I've left him messages every day this week and not one call back. I decided to visit them today to see if I could get some kind of update on my car and at 15:30 the place was deserted and all locked up! Does anyone know what's going on with those guys and how I can find out where my car is? I'm starting to miss her...

Best handling car ever...
As the question didn't specifically say road legal cars, I would have to say the following: 1) Formula Palmer Audi  2) Renault Clio Cup car :hyper: 3) Caterham 7 :D 4) Mitsubishi Evo VI  5) Nissan 300ZX TT :nana2: It's not strictly a list of those that would go quickest around a corner, but more a combination of that and good, clean, unadulterated, seat-of-your-pants fun :D :D :D I would really like to stick go-karts in there, because I've done plenty of karting, but having already sidestepped the question slightly by adding one single-seater I thought two would be pushing it!

Advice
My God I must have been pi$$ed when I wrote that!!! :D I've only just remembered writing it after reading the thread. How the hell did I manage to string together a sentence? I don't even know why I would have got back to my hotel room and fired up my laptop  Thanks for all the advice peeps. And for the record I'm not gay and not married. Yes, I probably should have dragged her round the back of the steakhouse and devoured a tender bit of rump, but ho hum maybe next time. I also clearly need to get out more. :duffer: I also need my Zed back, she's the woman for me  Sy.

Advice
So, dilemma. I'm in Ottawa, Canada at the moment on business and tonight I met this waitress in a steakhouse. She seemed really nice :hyper: . There's a reasonable chance I might be back here in the next two or three months. Do I go back there for lunch tomorrow before I fly home and ask her for her number (which I should have done when I was speaking to her tonight :headvswal ), or should I leave it be? Help! Sy.

Any update? My account still seems to be in limbo. I can't PM, or edit my ride...

FAO Steve-300ZX
Steve, I renewed my membership via paypal a while back. Under my profile my subscription is showing as having another year to run, but I seem to have lost all my membership privileges. Can you help? I couldn't send PM, because apparently I'm not allowed. Thanks, Simon.

Nearly wiped myself out last night.
A mate of mine did that once when I was in the car with him. Twas years ago and he had a sh1tty 1.6 Golf. Haring round this country road we cam upon a row of stationarry traffic and he jammed on the anchors and took to the other side of the road. We shot past most of the queue of traffic before finally coming to rest face to face with a Range Rover that was slowly (luckily) pottering along in the other direction. Wouldn't surprise me if when he got rid of that Golf there were still indents from my fingers in the armrest of the passenger door.

Led Rear Lights
Andy, I'd be interested in those if you are considering setting up a group buy. Cheers, Simon.

Rear Speakers
OK, sorry it took so long, but I found the box. My rears are Alpine SXE-4625S 4x6" and 150W peak (20W RMS). The smart ones among you may realise why I'm an idiot for going looking for the box
-
Rear Speakers
I had some new rear speakers fitted earlier in the year when I had my new head unit fitted. I'll see if I've still got the box for them somewhere... hopefully I didn't chuck them out. The guy that did it for me said that the rears were already going through an amplifier, so I'm assuming that's a stock thing from Nissan, because they're definitely miles louder than the fronts and I have to fade everything forward to get a good balance.

Happy Birthday Greg
Happy birthday Greg! Chinese and beers... mmmmm... :)

Fitted HID lights
Thanks guys. I looked at mounting under the nose panel, but I'm not sure I can make the leads reach, si it looks like the lights are coming out then
-
Thanks to Dan at DTA Motorsport!
Just had to say a big thank you to Dan for his help with the HID kits that formed part of a recent group-buy. Some of us UK owners had strange connections and Dan fabricated up some conversion leads in double quick time. Great after-sale service. Also thanks to AndyDuff for finding out the specs for the leads. Cheers chaps - it's help from guys like you that makes it a pleasure to be a member, especially for the inept like me! :)

Fitted HID lights
Out of interest, where did you mount the boxes? I'm struggling to find a good spot, so that I can still shut the bonnet and the wires will reach, unfortunately both of which are a requirement...

Look at my rear end!
Looks good. I've been toying with the idea of replacing my rear lights with the '99 EOM ones, but I figured there are things higher on my list of zed priorities. Have to admit it looks luverly though :)

Has anyone had custom mats made for their Zed?
Thanks Legrath.
